We went on an overcast Saturday afternoon, so sitting outside was wonderful. The food and service were good as well. The staff... was friendly and helpful. This was my first visit here but I would say it probably stays busy. You can make reservations. Wedidn't have one and waited about 30 minutes, which was not bad....we sat at the wine bar until our table was ready. Read more

Nice brunch or lunch spot. Wasn't pleased by the food options and the proportion but their drinks were amazing. My reason behind... giving a 3 star is that my party and I had to constantly swat fruit flies during our meal and the waiter seem to be rushing usby asking if there was anything else every 5 minutes. The restaurant is quaint and cute. Read more

The place is really beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have valet parking. They have wine seller , bakery and... cafe in-house. We went for brunch and everything we ordered was really fresh and flavorful. They serve freshly baked muffin andbiscuit which were very delicious and fluffy. We had waffle with fresh fruits, special of the day - salmon omelette, crab cakeBenedict, spinach omelette and chicken sausage, side of salad and home fries. For drinks we had cappuccino ,espresso shot and abottle of sparkling wine. Read more

This restaurant is in a beautiful neighborhood with a strong community pull. Fresh and relaxing inside, with quality food... items. The menu is limited, but all of the items are good. Waitresses and waiters are well trained and friendly. Non alcohol andalcohol items are served here as well. Make sure to make reservations, they rarely take walk-ins except at the bararea. Definitely a keeper!! Read more

I went here when they first opened with my mother over 30 years ago. I recently heard they were still one of the best brunches... in the ATL so I went and was not disappointed. Everything on the menu looked amazing, made me have to come back and try themall. I love bagels and lux so once I saw that it was over for my choice of the day. The lux, tomato slice, red onion, creamcheese and capers were all fresh. The only issue I had was the puny bagel size, it was smaller than a donut. All in the tastewas great. Girlfriend had the Egg Slum Mulligan. The poached eggs cooked perfectly, sausage was delicious along with all theother pieces tossed in. The only ding is the pound of potatoes they call potato hash - it is a ton of potatoes which make thedish look huge but in reality unless you really like tons of potatoes it's way too much for one person to eat, so it's a wasteof food. Location is in the heart of the Highlands, cute area to walk around and shop before or after your meal. Parking isVERY tight. They have valet at the bank across the street. The atmosphere is quaint. Small bar seating but plenty of regularrestaurant seating. Service was with a smile and prompt. Would I go here again? Yes, I have to try those other dishes minusthe potato hash. :) Read more

The malted waffle is easily my favorite item on the brunch menu. Often I find the fluffy waffles to generally be flavorless but... the one here was outrageously delicious. I literally want to go back everyday to have one every morning. The shrimp and gritswere just okay because the tomato based sauce on them was a little too sweet. The shrimp and the grits were cooked well but thesauce was not to my liking. Everything else was wonderful, including our server Slena. Super love that there is outdoor coveredseating with ventilation for those still covid conscious. Read more

While visiting Atlanta one of my sorority sisters booked reservations at Murphy's for us to dine for lunch. This was my first... time dining here. EVERYTHING about this restaurant is 5 star quality. The service, the food and the atmosphere was on point! Iespecially loved that Murphy's serves food that's in season. Therefore, their menu changes accordingly. The food was so darndelicious that I literally did a happy dance in my seat with each bite. Plus the reheat of my main entree, the next day, wasstill delicious. I enjoyed a mixed green salad with strawberries, garlic mussels and roasted chicken with polenta, mushrooms andasparagus. Read more
