Our waiter set the bar very high saying NYP was just like our favorite steakhouse. Cool, let's see (but now we're a little... jaded). Complimentary bubbles from Geno, table breads, Old Fashioned for the table, Stone Crab and Baked Shrimp appetizers,Pittsburgh-style New York Strip & Bone-in Ribeye (perfectly cooked), Southwest Creamed Corn, and Charred Brussel Sprouts wereall impressive in their own way... but not the same as our favorite. Excellent service and good attention. Every employee showed good hospitality skills. The bar has excellent atmosphere, ideal for... a quick drink, socialize or have a nice meal. The dining room is large with well distributed spaces all along. The goodmaintenance is notable from afar. The food selection is almost as it was curated with delicacy and excellent taste. My steak wasclose to being perfectly cooked, probably some of the best I’ve had in many years. Their service had a couple of minor hiccupsbut mostly due to some miss communication. Atlanta's fine dining at its best. From the moment you walk in you realize you are going to have a outstanding experience. The... food was cooked perfectly and prepared just like each of us asked. All of our meats were cooked to our requested temperatures.The shareable sides were good and definitely enough for two people to share. All in all a great restaurant. Read more
