Went to last Nicks last Saturday for a date night and had a perfect experience from start to finish. The free valet parking was... very convenient but they also offer self parking as well if you ask and they do validate parking. We enjoyed excellent servicewhile trying some of their creative and delicious cocktails, wonderful appetizers, entrees, and dessert with a chef recommendedaperitif. Everything we ate and drank was so tasty that we asked ourselves why we waited so long to come in! I love that theysource local and seasonal ingredients for the freshest food possible and change the menu items accordingly! I also appreciatedhow casual yet upscale they feel at the same time. Even the burgers looked phenomenal. What a gem Nicks Westside is. We’realready planning our next visit. Read more

Nothing was bad per se but still gave off the vibe that they just opened. Salmon poke tacos appetizer was tiny and ordered salad... with salmon as entree and salmon was also so small :(. Service not very good either - seemed like several long periods ofwaiting Read more

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service by Maddy! We got the fromage blanc fritters as an appetizer and the chicken paillard and... westside burger as our entrees. Everything was delicious! I was especially surprised by the roasted butternut squash which camewith the chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and had a great smoky flavor (honestly the best thing I ate!). Also, make sure toget yourself a perfectly crafted cocktail. Can't wait to come back again. Their menu changes frequently so we are excited totry new things! Read more

Had the opportunity to experience an "Evening of AIX" at Nick's Westside when the Chef recreated some of the reported favorites... from the restaurant AIX. It was an 8-course meal with wine and cocktail pairings. The food and service were good. I enjoyed theexperience overall. Read more

I love giving my patronage to restaurants where you can tell that they love what they do. Nick's seems to be one such... place. The decor is beautiful and inviting with light colors and a French seaside feel. The restaurant makes good use of theplanters outside, growing herbs and some vegetables which are used in the dishes. There were a variety of seating areas whichcould accommodate small groups, and the main dining area felt busy without being overly noisy. The two bar areas looked invitingfor someone wanting to catch a good meal at the last minute. We did have reservations for a Thursday night, and while therestaurant wasn't busy when we arrived at 7, by 8:00 the place had filled up. I think it'd be prudent to get reservations aheadof time. The staff greeted us warmly, and our waiter had excellent recommendations and excitedly answered all of ourquestions. So (finally) onto the food itself. Our table started with the biscuits and the charcuterie and cheese board. Bothwere beautifully presented. The biscuits are small and a fun little addition, but something I will skip in the future. The boardwas the real star of the show. The combinations of meats, cheeses and sides were interesting, different, and certainlydelicious. This is not the kind of board you can just pick up from Publix. It was great for sharing, but didn't fill us up wherewe couldn't enjoy our entrees. Our entrees spanned from salmon, to the steak frites, to the shrimp cesar salad. All were wellexecuted with the salmon and steak juicy, the salad dressing with a forward lemon zest and a perfect ratio ofshrimp-to-lettuce. We also enjoyed a variety of their cocktail selections. The menu wasn't overly long, but each cocktail wasunique to the restaurant. There's a wide flavor profile offered with cocktails, so I believe most people could have their pickof poisons. Overall, I was impressed. I look forward to my next visit there. Read more

Nick’s Westside has a great atmosphere! They also have the best burrata we have ever tasted. However, the menu overall fell a... little short for us. The entree options were pretty limited. My boyfriend got the chicken dish, which was good but not amazing.I ordered the shrimp appetizer as my entree and was surprised at the small portion that cost $16. If we come again, we will trythe burgers, which looked good at other people’s tables. Read more
