Great little vegan soul food spot. The food and service was great but the atmosphere could be better. I thought it was cool that... the owners of this business are black Israelites. Not something you come across everyday. Definitely stop in for a bite to eat. Read more

The Mac and cheese is my absolute favorite. I even make it for holidays at home! The tahani salad dressing is AMAZING!!!!! I've... been to brunch and loved it as well. BBQ kale bone is good with the salad and Mac. It's like clean soul food which Iappreciate!!! Read more

Prince dressing is to die for, the collards are killer the mac and cheeze is dope, cornbread is on point, kalebone twists are... ribs turned vegan. Amazing through and through. I can't wait to get back for more. Read more

From the garlic-y salad dressing to the perfectly seasoned collard greens, everything was super flavorful. Lovely portions and... lovely hospitality. Only bummer was the cornbread being a sad lil stale piece but I am still going back for more, I'm just a sadlil stale piece myself when you think about it. Update: second time's a charm ! Got a huge fresh piece of cornbread this time. Now I feel like a huge fresh piece myself thank you guys ???? Read more

The first place my wife and I went after getting into Atlanta was Soul Vegetarian. We had a Soul Vegetarian in Tallahassee for... many years that we loved before it closed, and we needed to know if this was the same restaurant or recipes. It was a trip downmemory lane! The kalebone twist had a great texture with a delicious bbq sauce. All the sides were just like I remembered too!We also ordered the Marcus Garvey burger (not pictured), and I think it?s the best vegan burger I?ve ever had! Love that saucewith it too. Thank you Soul Vegetarian for letting us relive some great memories. Read more

Excellent service and the BEST vegan mac and cheese I have ever had!!! It doesn't have a cheddar taste; it has more of a creamy... Kraft cheese taste. Read more

When we came in, we were greeted with a warn welcoming introduction and smile. We looked over the menu, ordered food. The food... came out in Styrofoam to go plates but I actually prefer disposable plating atm. Food was dense, flavorful and filling. Noneed to ask for to go boxes because it was already packaged ad so. But one thing I can say is their portions are bigger thanaverage so if you happen to be hungry you will be satisfied with the amount of food. Read more

We decided to checkout this restaurant because so many were closed. We appreciate the friendly customer service from the young... man, but the food was horrible! To brag about being in the vegan arena before it became popular, I just couldn't tell by thefood. It was 7 of us and the food was not tasty. The BBQ Kalebone is like some chewy fat from some where. The mac n cheese wassweet and the salad was good. The sweet potato pie was good. The brown rice and gravy was drowning in gravy that was not good. The butter pecan I read was watery. Very disappointed. The dining area was closed and parking is very limited. The 2 stars isfor the good items and the customer service. Read more
