Prices getting higher while the food portions are reducing. I have frequented Tabla since 2016 - the midtown location and more... recently, this Buckhead one - and I have enjoyed the food and service. However, over the last year or so, their menu priceshave gone up a fair amount while their portion sizes have reduced. I ordered the chicken tikka last week and got three tinypieces of chicken. Asked for chutney since the dish comes with none, and they now charge for that. The amount of rice that comeswith the entrees has been steadily reducing too. For the good - their Samosas and Dal Bukhara are wonderful. PS: pleaseconsider keeping one restroom for women only. The common ones tend to have dirty seats more often than not. Read more

Very disappointing management values and ethics (Tabla Buckhead). We called before going and they said even though they can’t... reserve, they have a table wrapping up in a few minutes and it would be available for us three so we should come there. Wereached in a few minutes and they asked us to wait for about 10-15 mins and pointed inside to a table and said they have paidtheir check and should be done soon. That was fine with us and we waited for about 15 mins. Right then a couple walked in andrealized they had reservation at the wrong tabla, not this one. The person at the front decided to give our table instead tothem and decided to seat us at the bar table instead. The other couple was not Indian and unfortunately this person decided thatwe could be seated anywhere (taking us for granted being Indian). Then another couple walked in (not Indian) and he told themthat he would give them a regular table inside. When we told him he was going to give us the regular table that we had beenwaiting for, he said he never told us which table he would give us even though he had pointed to it when we entered and we hadbeen waiting as per his request. It was very disappointing to see discrimination by your own. I don’t expect to see any formof discrimination for any ethnicity but unfortunately that’s how the restaurant operates. Not sure what this person gained bydoing that but we will never recommend a restaurant with poor values even if the food and ambience is good. We decided to go toanother Indian restaurant and got excellent service. In fact the other Tabla (original one) was very courteous and upfront onthe phone that they only have bar seating available for us so we can decide. We went to another place. Values and ethics makeall the difference to any establishment. No form of discrimination should be accepted. Read more

Food was fantastic. The service could have been better, the restaurant was empty but they still made us wait until our whole... party was there to sit. Chicken vindaloo was amazing and everything else was pretty good too. Read more

Amazing restaurant. The food, service, ambience. The menu is limited though very tasty. Their staff is well trained to guide on... what to order based on your preference. The drinks were great, so were curries and Nan. The one thing we didn't really careabout is the dessert. Have had much better dessert at home and at other restaurants. If you've time then definitely worth avisit. They do take reservations and is advisable. Read more

Absolutely delicious food! We had chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, a shrimp something, cauliflower something, plain naan,... and mango lassi. Everything we ordered was tasty, hot, and fresh. Service was great, engaging, pleasant, and took care ofbusiness. Parking is validated in a covered lot for up to 2 hours. Will visit again! Read more

The lamb shank was delicious. The bartender is very friendly! He made drinks off the menu based on my taste.

First off, I was really surprised at how good the ambiance was at this place. The look and feel is more of a dinner date/ fine... dining restaurant rather than a regular dinner place. The appetisers (small plates) are the best items on the menu in my opinion- especially the lamb chops and the Spinach Pakoras were absolutely delicious. The selection of naan breads were also delicious. The big plates were interesting, the paneer saag tasted somewhat bland and the Ragastani rabbit was mediocre but the Lamb Roganwas probably the best lamb dish I've had. They also have vegetarian options. Service was great. Overall, price is on the higherside but the whole experience was well worth it. They do validate parking if you park in the same building as the restaurant. Read more
