I only give out five stars to about 5% of my reviews. This one deserves it. The food is excellent. Fresh, well thought out, not... overpowering. The actual restaurant is quite charming. It's nice but not stuffy or overly fancy. There's more outdoor seatingthan indoor. It's a upscale but relaxed atmosphere. The service is knowledgeable and responsive. You can tell they take pride intheir craftmanship and the quality of the food. If I could only make one suggestion, it's that the server team visited thetable too often without noticing we were in conversation. My suggestion is to wait for a lull in a conversation beforeinterrupting. Nonetheless, I would say great service. Read more

Great coffee, decent breakfast, spotty service, lovely atmosphere. Third time here where I've waited for something to come out... and it was either forgotten or took a very long time (we're talking about warming a croissant). But the wait isn't bad with apretty view, and everything tasted pretty good, so I can't complain much. I would come back to try the cocktails. Read more

Located right at the northwestern corner of Chastain Park, The Chastain is a beautiful location with an ambiance that matches.... The outdoor area was enjoyable despite the cold weather, the bar had a ranch feel and the dining area was a modern mix of glassand old school charm. We had a table in the private dining area which had a beautiful fireplace, decor and it's own bathroomsuite. The service and food was spot on and I would recommend for either cocktails or a romantic dinner. Read more

The Chastain has been one of the best restaurant experiences I've had for a while. The service was excellent, the food was top... notch. The Chastain Café creates an incredible outdoor environment for an incredible pastry and coffee menu. We ordered a chocolate... croissant, quiche, cheese & egg biscuit, and a coffee cake. We picked a seat in the enclosed patio area but moved out into thecourtyard when the sun came through. Such a peaceful environment surrounded by a communal fire and conversation. The pastrieswere delicious and the coffee was good enough to order a bag of espresso beans to go. Parking was readily available and thelocation was quietly located across from the Chastain golf course. Would definitely come back with a group of friends. Read more

We came here at the invitation of a friend. I had never heard of the restaurant because I don't typically spend a lot of time on... Chastain Park. What a wonderful surprise. Staff were so wonderful and the food was such high quality. The flavors were reallywell thought out and it was very creatively delivered. I had that halibut which had this really nice creamy sauce on the side. Itried my friends rack of lamb and it was out of this world. The meat was perfectly medium well. The big surprise was thedelicious sweet potatoes with goat cheese. I highly recommend checking these guys out. And don't forget to get the dessert. Wehad the chocolate mousse which had a dark chocolate ganache and a cream cheese kind of bottom layer. You may have to go for along walk around Chastain Park to burn off the calories. Read more
