I lucked out and found street parking right in front. I got the Roasted Duck Ramen which came out pretty quickly. This was... absolutely delicious and would entice me to come back. I also got the Chicken Asian Wings and despite only having four wings, the taste made this absolutely worth it. I’d definitely consider coming back next time ummm in the area. Read more

Had a nice bowl of ramen with Korean beef for lunch. Very delicious and satisfying. A little spicy but not too spicy. My friend... had pulled-duck curry, and liked it too. Very clean restaurant. Very good and pretty fast service. Read more

I got takeout from the newest spot in town. Their closest food competitor is Food Terminal, less than a mile away. Tantanmen... Beef Brisket was my main course. Very tasty. They did a great job on the noodle dish very flavorful. The kimchi was mild.Perfect for a nontypical Korean diner. I usually don't like cilantro, but it paired well with dish. (And I'm not one with thecilantro/ soap curse.) If that was only I was getting, my rating would be higher... however my deducts came from dessert. Iorder the matcha cheesecake. Two of my favorite things. $9.50... the serving size was OFFENSIVE! I used a Quarter forcomparison. It was listed with ginger ice cream... no ice cream came with it! What was supposed to be a treat, became a trickand we are months away from Halloween. I hope my review helps shed light on the poor situation. Read more

If only I could add more stars… My partner and I have a fantastic time at Wagamama Atlanta. After having this many times... growing up overseas, this location lived up to and exceeded any nostalgic expectations. Lexi, our server, was kind, heartwarming, and enthusiastic about our experience and introducing the menu. All of the staff we spoke with were incrediblytalented at what they do. Let’s talk food! The Chili Chicken Ramen was some of the best noodles we’ve had. The spicepresented itself as a flavor than a challenge, and the chicken was seasoned beautifully. The Bao Buns were light and fluffy. TheSteak Bulgogi hit every note for the noodle lover. The deeper you dug into the bowl, the more flavor you’d find! It wasfilling but not at all heavy. The CHICKEN WINGS!!!! These were the best Asian-inspired wings I could have ever experienced. Themeat fell right off the bone as it was so tender. They also have a delicate crunch to the skin, coated with the sauce of ourdreams. With the wings, we received tiny bowls with tightly wound wet napkins that grew as they filled the bowls with water. Wewere shown a future menu item - The Chicken Katsu Sandwich - we were drooling. To top off our lovely experience, we received acomplimentary green tea cheesecake slice with their house-made ginger ice cream. Even if you are full, PLEASE try the dessert. This was the cherry on top for us. Thank you, Lexi and Wagamama staff, for a perfect dining experience. We hope to be back! Read more

Food is pretty good... a d presentation is amazing! we tried the tantanmen beef brisket ramen, shu shiok chicken, duck donburri, bang bang cauliflowerand duck wings. All are good. And don’t forget to request to sit down with Tyson (he is prompt and very helpful). We’ll beback! Read more

We did the soft opening/practice run before the main opening. It did not go well. Take a kitchen and staff used to just doing... online orders and dump around 80 dining room customers on them at one time. Some tables were so close together, wait staff had ahard time maneuvering between tables. It was hard to get up and get between tables to get to the restroom. It was extremely loudto the point you couldn't hear the people across from you. Of course that many people at one time dumping orders on the kitchen, while also doing online orders, it took forever to get food. It took some of our appetizers 40 minutes to get to the the table, the others didn't show up until after we'd finished the entrees. It was 20 mins between the first entree and the last entreebeing served at the table. To me the food was ok. Best things we had was the fresh justices, duck ramen (an extra was orderedto go), bang bang cauliflower, tuna tataki, and matcha cheesecake with ginger ice cream (mainly for the ice cream). The not sogreat or just ok things...The edamame was flavorless, the steak bulgogi was cut in large slices and was over cooked and full ofgristle (they claimed it would come medium rare), the spicey brisket donburi was really heavy on the vinegar, the duck wingswere cold and tasted like they were coated in cinnamon toast crunch, and the banana katsu was hard like they used fresh greenbananas. The bathrooms are extremely small, feel like you had a shower in there. The sink is so tiny the water splashes outwhen you try to wash your hands. There's only a hand dryer option and it's above the toilet paper and face level for a person5'3 or shorter. So it blew the water back at you and onto the toilet paper (I wondered why I had to unroll a bunch of wet paperto get dry toilet paper to begin with). They aren't sure if they will be able to validate parking, so that's an added deterrentfor the location. Especially if a juice/drink, app, entree, and dessert will run you $45-$50 Read more

Had high hopes for for wagamama but it was a swing and a miss. Tried to get takeout tonight, and were primarily excited for one... thing: pork belly bao buns. Well, they somehow were out of the steamed buns at the beginning of dinner service. Instead we gotvery undercooked, pail gyoza. The bang bang cauliflower was not crispy - it seemed steamed. The glass noodles were severelyundercooked, almost crunchy, with the cheapest serving of chicken. The spicy brisket bowl was the best thing we had, with verytender, flavorful brisket. This was a brutal way to spend $60+. We will still give them one more chance when we can dine in andhopefully have some bao buns. Read more
