Excellent experience, we got to our apartment late in the evening, and the staff accommodated our entire family with adult meals... and beverages, and kids meals for the kiddos. We've been to White Oak several times during this very busy weekend. We always look forward to the service, drinks and food.... This wasn't the same experience. What went right: The PBJ app was inventive and perfectly seasoned. The desserts were welldone. The pot de creme was the best thing we had - a great play of textures. The chocolate cake was rich. It had a granita and atuile, which was interesting, but not a great structural execution choice together. It made the whole dish cold andcoffee-flavored, and the granita took away from the crunch of the tuile. I wasn't mad about it, but it was the lesserdessert. What could be better: Our server was inattentive, and it wasn't that busy. The lobster beignets did have a good amountof meat in them -- definitely a plus. They were missing salt and acid to be balanced, and they were underdone (too squishy onthe inside). The escargot was cooked perfectly, but also missing acid or something to balance the fattiness. The garden toastleaned into the sweetness, which was a choice. Our cocktails were flat, uninteresting and watery. Elegant, but casual dining. Cool atmosphere with a huge bar selection. Excellent service and the food was well plated and... delicious to the last bite. The deviled eggs were creamy and mouthwatering. Crab sandwich was a huge portion and delicious.Blackberry old fashioned was a great addition, but beware it is on the sweeter side. Read more

Sophisticated dining setting, tasty southern inspired foods, and great cocktails! We happened to visit valentine's day weekend... so we got the vday 3 course meal ($60 per person) and we felt that it was a great deal considering that just an entree runsaround ~$25 here. Autumn was an amazing server and provided us with a great first experience at White Oak. It's a good place fordate night or a fancier night out with friends! Location is great too. We were able to easily walk over to the Tabernacle afterdinner to attend a show. Read more

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the she crab soup and short rib. Was so tasty and good sized portions. I originally... came because the octopus appetizer sounded amazing, but apparently they change the menu often so it wasn’t available. Butthat’s ok because I was very pleased with what I was able to get! Loved the vibe of the place and Sam was an outstandingserver. He gave great recommendations and was very personable. The only downside was an abundance of fruit flies or gnatsflying around which was a little gross. But all in all, would definitely come back! Read more

The setting of the restaurant was very modern with a little country accent. The food came fast. Tasted great and also... beautifully plated. Prices were very reasonable.
