Beginnings has it all! Great staff, great ambiance, and the best food!!!! The crispy rice cake dippers reminded me of the best... sushi places in Manhattan. This place always delivers and has tremendous attention to detail. We always leave there saying 'thatplace is so great.' this is my favorite restaurant in long island ! my personal favorites are the blackened mahi fish tacos, the stuffed meatloaf... and the carbonara pasta. all are delicious options that i continue to reorder every time i’m there or taking out. if diningin, i would highly recommend going there for Wednesday nights when they do weekly themed events for $65 per person. every weekis a new tasting menu which includes a variety of food options and drinks, and it’s an all around fun vibe. they have a greatoutdoor dining situation for when the weather is nice too. love it here! This place has an incredible ambiance and the food is amazing. Our waitress, Jess was fabulous!! She was so knowledgeable of the... menu and so sweet. She made the experience very memorable. We’ve been here a few times but this time was incredible. We gotthe yard bird, meatloaf, and ribs with brussel sprouts and espresso martinis. All of them were amazing but the yard bird was thebest bc of how crispy the chicken was. We’ve also gotten the eggplant meatballs, chicken and waffles, bang bang shrimp, andpumpkin ravioli. This place is so good you really can’t go wrong. You’ll need a reservation and don’t be late! They alsodo a lot of trivia and themed nights. Definitely must check this place out!! Read more
I was greeted by an hostess who was also our waitress she told us sit anywhere we would like. The menu was an QR code in a... little picture frame located on the table. The Food was amazing (especially the fried oysters appetizer). The portions are verybig. The bathroom was vintage looking and behind a book shelf inside the bathroom there was a baby changer (in the lady’srestroom) as well as a bulletin board with events taking place. The waitress was extremely attentive so where all the otherstaff. The bill was handed in a book jewelry box which I thought was very cool. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Great food and atmosphere. Ordered so much food. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious. Ordered a burger and a side of Mexican... street corn. Street corn was underwhelming since I grew up eating this stuff. Big list of drinks, all very good. Read more
