Bacon wrapped scallops and grouper dish was very good but don't order the crab cake it was all filler and NO crab meat. The... lobby atmosphere was nice and well decorated but upstairs was cramped and we sat by a loud external A/C unit that almost frozemy friends arm off during the meal. The staff seemed stressed out and we didn't feel welcomed at all by the hostess and somestaff. Our waitress and the male bartender were nice to our group! Read more

First off: GET A RESERVATION. They stay full up and busy, walk ins really might have to wait a couple hours. Do it, it's worth... it. Drinks were amazing and cheep($10-$12) compared to the prices we pay at home. No complaints there at all. We had a verylarge group, 13 people and they made it work for us. Got to try a few appetizers between us, the fried green maters, baconwrapped scallops, and crab dip. Out of those 3 I would recommend the crab dip as the most shareable for a table. The scallopsand the green tomatoes would be best as an appetizer for 2 imo, still good, just don't expect enough of those to share. Fordinner I got the pick 3 boil pot and went with a cluster of crab legs, lobster, and peel and eat shrimp. Boil pot also hadsausage, corn, potatoes, carrots, onions, okra, and celery. All my items were delicious and cooked perfectly. Most of the groupgot a pound of crab legs actually. We love this place for fresh seafood right on the beach. We always sit on the deck on the 4th so we can watch the fireworks.... Our server was friendly, knew the menu well and gave us great service. We had the Caribbean curry shrimp and the crab dip forappetizers. Both were very good. We love the curry sauce with apples! For dinner we had the steamed lobster and shrimp. Thelobster was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The shrimp were a bit overdone. The veggies and sausage in the steam basket werevery tasty. We also had the grouper special in Italian herbs and over a bed of fettuccine in a white wine sherry sauce withvegetables and shrimp. We sat inside on the second floor with great ocean views, but there are quite a few steps to get there. The grouper was fresh... over a mixed green salad with homemade raspberry honey dressing, which was delicious. My husband enjoyed the salmon sandwichwith a huge pile of onion rings. Decided to go to the crabs claw for our 16 year wedding anniversary! The crabs claw has been remodeled a couple of years ago... because of hurricane damage. It definitely looks and feels 1000 times better. Other than the host at the front door that seatedus the service was outstanding!. I had the grouper pasta. My wife had the fillet. The service throughout the meal was perfect.Our drinks came quickly the food was delicious. Because we were celebrating our anniversary we decided to have some dessert eventhough we were completely stuffed. We had the shark thin dessert which was vanilla ice cream rolled in Oreo cookies over abrownie with hot fudge and whip cream. It was delicious. I only regret is that we should’ve made reservations to get a betterview of the ocean. But overall we enjoyed our time at the crabs claw. Read more

Fantastic food! So happy we tried this place! Anything that is hot is literally steaming. Crab dip looked burned but tasted... great, shrimp grits and scallops au gratin were amazing, the key lime pie and chocolate decadence were great ways to finish themeal. Recommend reservations though. In March, we went early (~4pm) with no reservations and were told all outdoor seating wasreserved, but we could have a table indoors until 6:30. We left about 6:30 and not all outdoor seats were full, and there was noline waiting to be seated indoors. Read more
