First time here, because of long wait at Amos Mosquitoes. It's a place to 'dine', long leisurely meal with adult beverages,... appetizers, meal, dessert. A bit pricey for entrées and potion size, everything was delicious, though. Reservationsrecommended because it's a small venue. We sat at the bar, since we didn't have one, and were attended to without beingobnoxious. I don't mind the differing personalities, or brightly colored, shaved hair, of staff, but a dress code would be nicefor staff. Not particularly interested in having a deep cleavage staring at me while I order. And as a large woman, she had tolean on the bar over the prep and sink area of the bar to take our order or talk to us, as the place is LOUD. Good was good, small place so you probably need to get a reservation or hope they are not too busy. They have really good... specials, when we got there that night they have just sold out of their special so we just decided to have a couple ofappetizers and they were good! Their crab dip it's really good! Their cocktails are also really tasty and worth it to try. Staffwas super friendly and attentive from their host was super helpful and accommodating to us. This place is definitely one of the best places in the area to eat! I'd eaten here once before earlier in the season and... thought it was great but this second visit knocked it out of the park. Started with the crab dip, which was perfect. Deliciousand a great way to begin. Spilt the Summer Salad with my companion next. It was light, fresh and an excellent transition beforewe moved on to the catch of the day, which was Mahi Mahi with a pineapple butter. Every dish was delicious! Reservations arerecommended but we were lucky and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender, Haley is an absolute pleasure! I'll definitely beback soon! Read more
Lovely experience. We visit AB annually for some rest and relaxation. We've pretty much figured out our favorite food and drink... stops. However, we clearly should have tried The Island Grille sooner. This place had such good vibes. Picked up some takeout,ordered a drink at the bar while I waited. The staff was amazing, the food was amazing too. Read more
Wonderful experience. The menu is very unique. I?ve never heard of chorizo clams, but they were absolutely delicious.
Great choice for a Valentine?s Day dinner! Plus it was Monday so we took advantage of the awesome Monday BOGO entree special.... Such a deal! If you haven?t been, be prepared for close quarters. It is a very small space, and very popular so always crowded.Almost no masks but given the density, probably best for folks who are vaccinated and comfortable in a crowd. Food is alwaysexcellent. To be blunt, the prices are outrageous for what you get. One of the cheapest things on the menu is Chicken Scampi, at $26. At... that price, I was expecting delicious chicken and an amazing pasta and sauce. What I got was watery sauce and chicken (Bone-in)with basically zero flavor. My party and I both left, looked each other and asked, 'Did they season that at all?'. The bestpart of the experience was the desert, which was the only thing worth the price. Also the amount of flies was crazy. Yes, youare close to the beach, but there is no excuse for the amount of flies in there. Read more
