They do a great job with their drinks whether they are the specials or regular menu. But whoever makes the baked goods needs... baking lessons. Scones are still cookie texture, not scones. But soooo disappointed as this is my 3rd attempt at trying theircupcakes: 1st experience months ago- the lemon poppy seed was dense, dry, and crumbly. 2nd experience was the basic vanillacake with buttercream frosting which was dry, crumbly, with grainy frosting. My 3rd and FINAL experience was today- althoughhesitant, I decided to buy a six pack of oreo cookie frosting, vanilla cake with chocolate ganache center- my daughter'sfavorites! Sounds amazing, right? So awful and sad: the container held up the cake from caving in as the salty icing was sothick and heavy that it couldn't be butter cream but shortening, the cake was drier than I remember, and the ganache center wasabout the size of a quarter. At about $3 per cupcake, I was expecting amazing cupcakes! Read more
The food here is generic nothing fancy or healthy about the baked goods are almost always dried out and stail there's been a... couple times I've gotten a half-decent pastry . There lunch menu is nothing but basic deli meats that you could purchase acrossthe street and make 6 of them for the price of one, the salads are about the only decent items but still over priced. The Staffis okay unattentive they seem to only care about socializing all young teenagers my husband and I have gone in several timesand we seem to always be waiting for Acknowledgement . The owners seem to be kind of rude and unfriendly they just walk bygiving u an uncomfortable glare I personally wouldn't not recommend this place everything is overpriced especially when you haveto have 10 transactions to get a free beverage if you use any mobile app you get free items daily from Tim Hortons or DunkinDonuts you're basically wasting your money here at the positive Cafe and Bakery. Yes it's convenient but that's about it..Ireally don't see whats positive about the positiv Cafe and bakery. Read more
Super cozy atmosphere, good options for food and drinks, clean bathrooms. Would definitely go again!
