Applebee's tends to catch a lot of flack because it's a chain restaurant, but this one doesn't have that feel. The staff is... inviting and friendly. The ever-changing menu is always full of great options, and the food is above average. Today, ourwaitress was attentive but not bothersome, full of smiles and positivity. My sandwich was perfect. Fresh and hot, bursting withflavor. The pub fries were fabulous. I highly recommend trying these while they are available, but don't let them sit. Eat themwhile the cheese is good and melty. Our visit to Applebee's in Atwater was very dissapointing. They took a very long time to serve our food & they skimped on some... of it. I noticed another customer's food took a while too. So many other issues like: Blended drinks that we've had before atanother Applebee's were so watered down that they looked more like just crushed ice, most of the food was cold or lookedspoiled, and the cleanliness of the place certainly needs attention. Top this all off with being stuck with a waiter who lookedlike he was bothered working. Atleast they could take the time to remove the stickers that are on a number of tables as theyhave been partially pulled up and the once sticky parts, including the area the stickers once covered on the tables, are nowdark with dirt & grime build up. First time for me and my bf coming here. The wait was pretty fast. The waitress we got was really nice and made us feel very... comfortable, her name was jennie. The wait for food was also pretty fast and omg was really good too. The atmosphere in therewas good, not to crowded, it seem perfect for us... My Man ordered baby bak ribs with steak and also came with mash potatoes,broccoli and cole slaw. He said he would definitely come back he loved it. I ordered grilled shrimp coverd in bbq and chickenalso covered in bbq and i also had mash potatoes, brocolli, cole slaw on da side...we already plannin on coming back:) Read more
Great food, our waitress was all smiles and kept up with us well, and our food was great! I got the BBQ Brisket Tacos (excellent... choice) and Bahama Mamas for $1 was a great deal, though they were really sweet from past versions I've had. Can't wait to comeback! Read more
Horrible food and service. All the fries that were served with our meals were cold and stale. The cold slaw was warm and wilted... and soggy as if it was left out for days.The waitress Jammie Z spent more time conversing with fellow employees then payingattention to detail and her area. Read more
