We are not regulars but despite the food looking delicious, it was only okay - the ham was great, but the corn was cold and the... steak sandwich was unfortunately not to our liking. This place is popular and well liked by many locals and so we will tryagain at some point in the future! The place is in need of a refresh/repaint and the entrance needs to be reworked butotherwise a decent place to eat. Read more

I have been a Country's customer since the early '90s. It was always great but it has gone downhill a lot in the past couple of... years. We've given them a few more chances but this was the last one. I ordered fried chicken which I was told would take 25minutes. That was no problem as we were still waiting for my daughter to arrive. I put in my order and then about 10 minuteslater we put in the orders for my husband and daughter since their food wouldn't take as long as mine. The food all came outand my chicken was burned to the point of being so dark brown that it was almost black. I refused my food and they offered toremake it but by this time it had taken 30 minutes to make so I said I would just rather they take it off my bill and I wouldget something somewhere else. My daughter's food was wrong. Turned out it was for the table next to us and they had forgottento make hers. At this point, my husband was the only one with food. It was another 10 minutes before my daughter got food. Myhusband's brisket slices were pretty much all fat and the beans were like beans with ketchup instead of baked beans. The serverhad forgotten to bring the bar b que sauce for my husband's meal and didn't check back in with the table until she brought mydaughter's food so he didn't have the sauces he had ordered for his brisket. When my daughter's food finally did arrive, shesaid her black eyed peas tasted like pickles, like someone had dripped pickle juice in them when putting pickles on her plateand the fries were just not good at all ( I tried one). Not once did the manger come to the table but walked around the diningroom and could see our table and see that only one person had food. We eventually asked to see the manager. I explained thesituation and she took care of the bill. We left with both me and my husband not eating because his food was not edible and mydaughter only took her chicken fingers to go as the sides were not good and my husband and I pla Read more

This location usually has ok food. But on this visit we ordered chicken strip plate which is 10.00 a plate. The strips were the... size of a French fry. Seriously.. You get 5 strips and they were as big as a kids finger. It's a hit and miss eating here. Iprobably wouldn't recommend.. Priced high and food quality isn't that good. Read more

We had lunch today and it was good, but not great. The good: my wife's grilled chicken fingers (and amazing honey mustard) were... phenomenal and the smoked corn on the COB was also a standout. The bad: my butter beans and squash casserole were certainlygood, but were bland = needed some salt/pepper somewhere in the cooking process. I had the pork ribs - two were good, but therest were thin and dry/tough like they had been cut well ahead of time and sat under a lamp. We would come back for the chickenfingers and corn, but not for the ribs. Read more
