Our waiter did not speak good English. I had a hard time getting him to understand that I didn't want Cilantro in my salsa. He... finally understood and pointed at the one that did not have cilantro. He did not tell me it was HOT. I got a big chip full ofsalsa and burnt my mouth and throat. It took 20 minutes to get water. I ordered a tostada. My companions order the super tacoand the chili reano/ burrito combo. The taco doesn't state that it is fried so hard to eat. The chili/burrito combo wasmicrowave. Not worth the cost. Read more
I have been a patron of Cafe D since I was in HS (grad-1988). I love their food and I love their salsas!! My friends & I used to... eat Cafe D tacos before going to dance clubs 'til the wee hours. I'm unable to frequent Cafe D as much as I would like 'cause Imoved to Santa Cruz (Cafe D is still the best Mexican restaurant). I can't wait to come back to Cafe D and have a shredded beeftaco! Great Mexican food always fresh. It is fun to eat and watch people walk by outside. Great staff.
My first visit to Cafe Delicias was 1965... and, it remains really good. Even the fresh small dinner salad has never changed_it... is Excellent & fresh every time. Great Salsa & Chips tells best Mexican food most times. It's all good...Try the egg dishes! Read more
We stopped and ate here tonight. The service was excellent and the food was good. We caught the restaurant right before the... dinner rush. The restaurant seems to get busy and was filling up. Our meals were very reasonably priced and came out prettyquickly. The meal started off with a small salad, which I thought was a nice touch. My wife had a Chili Relleno and Carne AssadSoft Taco. She really liked the meal. I had a Tamale that was topped with a Mole Type Sauce and a Chicken Burrito (picturesattached). We both were happy with our meal and if in the area and you are looking for a nice Mexican food meal you should stopby. Read more
Good food, decent price, very friendly staff. The burritos lookes good and i got the super nachos. They give complimentary chips... and salsa and its very good. They also have fried ice cream and burrito cheesecake. I didnt try it, but i think itd taste prettygood. The decor is nice and has a nice theme that makes it cozy. They also have a bar. Read more
Food was excellent but only one waiter was pleasant and attentive. The other was less so. Our food took a long time to come out.
