Any reviews before 1-2022 are irrelevant because in Jan., El Portal came under new ownership. THIS PLACE IS TOP NOTCH, the best... in town, amazing, incredible!!! The salsa, the beers, the crispy tacos, the burritos, the service- it doesn't get better thanthis! If you guys want to open another location in the Holiday Shopping Center on Combie Road- i promise to come there at least3-4 times a week and so will my friends! Thats how much I love El Portal. Stopped here during a road trip. Food was great, service was great and meals arrived fast. The chips and salsa were very good.... Chips were nice and crisp and the salsa had good flavor with the right amount of kick. I ordered a smothered chicken burrito.Yum! Very large and they use chicken breast, not thighs. Which is something you don't see very often. My friends all were verysatisfied with their meals too. Read more
