When I worked in Auburn, I pretty much ate here everyday! That's the only thing I miss about working in Auburn is getting to eat here all the time. I try to stop by any chance I get. I have been going to Max's Deli for over a year and gotta tell you they got this sandwich business down! Phenomenal flavors,... warm, friendly customer service from Max and his team, and quality food, from the sandwiches to the chili and potato salad. Mygo-to has always been the Brisket Banh Mi, sometimes with bacon, but they're all pretty amazing. Unfortunately open only duringlunch hour from 10-2 and weekdays only, otherwise I'd be stopping by on weekends after trail runs.
