It's a middle of the road Mexican restaurant. The decor wasn't as nice as some places I've been but it was well kept and clean.... I've only been here once and the wet burrito with red sauce and carnitas wasn't all that good compared to other Mexicanrestaurants I've eaten at. The service was good and acceptable. If and when I eat here again I'll try something else andhopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised at a better tasting meal. Read more
I usually give 5 stars but the service and food are declining a bit. I ordered s menudo to take out and there was about half of... the meat that usually fills the cup. I would of rather been told that they were out than finding out when I got home. Read more
First time here. This was a great burrito. They asked "?Grande¿ I casually said yes. I think this weighed 2 lbs....? Barely... finished it... Enjoy! I will visit them again next time I pass by Auburn. Read more

I went here for the first time this week. After one visit I can say La Herradura will be my go to spot for Mexican food in... Auburn. The staff was quick and friendly, my chicken flautas were crispy and flavorful unlike what you get at some other places.The make or break for me is usually the beans and rice, and they were absolutely amazing here. I will definitely be back,although I do have one problem. Im sure its due to under-staffing, but the dining room was pretty messy. Tables were not wipeddown and there was food on the floor in front of the salsa bar. I hope they can focus a bit more on keeping the dining roomclean cause id love to bring friends here soon!
