This is simply below average gas station food. I really didnt expect much and it still fell below my expectations Ordered... takeout while staying at the hotel within walking distance. The menu linked to their website on google had sandwiches pricesbetween $4-7 a piece, simply a lie. With these prices and under the presumption that the sandwiches wouldnt be big, I ordered 2smalls, both at around $5 on website menu. When i walked in I was greeted immediately with "sorry we are no longer taking hotfood orders" without even being able to say I had ordered over the phone earlier. The actual sandwiches were served on genericgrocery store hot dog buns. I ordered a steak and cheese as well as a "double Italian" with exactly 3 slices of flavorless ham,the toppings on this "italian" sandwich made it so soggy I couldn't even hold it without the bread completely falling apart. Thesteak and cheese was just loose ground beef held together with so much cheese it was pretty much a grilled cheese with scatteredbits of burger on it. Both sandwiches were about 9$ and I paid almost 20$ for these after tax. Incredibly poor sandwiches andnot a very kind staff. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone, go to the crossroads market or aroma Joe's down the road. Read more
Rudest staff I've ever encountered. Pizza was not done ask to have it baked longer, was told to state that when ordering in the... future. Got to sit and listen to the staff complain about my not saying well done. Didn't really want well done I simply wantedit done. I can't imagine ever returning here. Read more
Thank you ladies for making a pizza correctly!! I have not been anywhere else in the Lewiston Auburn area where when you ask for... and pay for 2 toppings, you get 2 toppings covering the whole pizza. That is the way to make a pizza! Read more

Oh my word!! ???? I hadn't had amatos since I was a kid and that experience wasn't great. I decided to take another chance today... and I'm glad I did!! Ordered over the phone, phone service was awesome. I showed up later, but my order was ready. In personcustomer service felt kind of... awkward lol. But I got a large white pizza with chicken added. It's amazingg!! I play this dumbpizza game that has a similar pizza and I've been craving it bad lol almost nowhere else has garlic/white sauce. 10/10 wouldrecommend ???? First time ordering from this Amatos, and it didn't disappoint. We ordered by phone and the pick up time was only 5 minutes off.... Prices are typical, and the food quality is good. We love the calzones and veggie stuffers. Read more
Convenient location however the credit card machine looks like it hadn?t been cleaned sense new, Italian had one piece of meat... and one piece of cheese, and meat stuffers are saturated in grease. Not what I would expect from Amatos. Read more
EDIT ??#2 I use to get great Italians here... Unfortunately the last 5-6 have been like opening a can of... soup??????????? DISGUSTING! Who wants to eat a Italian when you pick it up or FALLS APART due to the rolls being so wet! I'lltake my business elsewhere until someone else is making subs. What a shame & a waste though. Get it together management ofAmatos PLEASE! Hands down best Italians ???? I go to the other stores in Lewiston every night for an Italian & usually they aremade so sloppy and the bread is soaked but this place I've never had a bad sub???? Edit: Until recently. Awful ????
