I have ordered several times from Mac seafood ,but this time. I was very disappointed.. The food was very greasy. Yes I did... order. fried food. but it has never been this greasy. The containers had grease in them. I did call in advance and ordered fora certain time, The fries I tried to put them in my air fryer. there was so much grease. Fabulous selection of super fresh seafood. Lobster roll is absolutely delish! My love had red hotdogs and clam crowder and... perfectly prepared french fries. A couple tables inside, about a dozen picnic tables outdoors. Order at the counter, pick upminutes later. Absolute 5 of 5 for food and friendly staff! Read more
Very disappointed in the quality of the seafood. I ordered a large clear lobster roll and it was skimpy at best. The meat was... flavorless. I mean really, in Maine? Lobster should be fresh and plentiful. I also ordered the NE clam chowder and there was alot of clam. But the broth was very thin. I went in at the last minute yesterday hoping to pick up a lobster roll for my husband. Seeing how full the parking lot was, I... was prepared for a wait. Not at all! Fast and pleasant service all the way around. My compliments to the 3 people workingFathers Day, you handled your orders and your customers with above average service. Highly recommended by friends as a great place for seafood. On site/inside order of a lobster roll, clam dinner with onion rings... came out swiftly. Food was fresh, hot and pleasing to the eye. We chose to sit outside at picnic tables where the attendant cameout after a few minutes to ask how was our meal. "Clams are soft + tasty; lobster sweet, it's very good"! Fresh, fried potatoes (FF) and fresh, hand-seasoned onion rings are the frosting on the cake to the lobster roll and haddock... sandwich we had there today. While the "eat-in" area on a chilly day is somewhat needy, you can't beat the flavor of the foodand the friendly staff. If the weather is kind, there is picnic seating available. Read more
