Ordered the chicken cobb with bacon arrived with no bacon and barely any chicken, mostly a bowel of lettuce for almost $12.
I?ve never posted a review in my life but felt obligated to this time. I called in an order for a steak, cheese, mushrooms &... onions. The Young Lady was absolutely brilliant on the phone, so polite & made sure that my order was correct, she said it?ll beready in 10 minutes. About 7-8 minutes later I was there & my sandwich was ready & waiting. When I picked it up it felt cold butI put it down to it being wrapped in the tinfoil & the outside bag. Boy was I wrong. This sandwich was cold, not a little coldbut absolutely no warmth at all. I was hungry & decided to eat it anyway, or try too. After about 2-3 bites that was enough forme, it tasted absolutely disgusting, I can?t even describe it. I can?t understand how this is even possible other than theyfound this sandwich on a shelf that had been forgotten for a few weeks. Yes, it was that bad. If you are a Dog owner you?llprobably understand this, whatever I eat , either at home or out I always keep some for my boy, but my sandwich was so bad thatI wouldn?t even let him try it. I am so incredibly disappointed in this location, that I wish I could give it negative stars. This is not what D'Angelos is... about, and this review is only with the Auburn,MA store (not the company). I went today thirty minutes before close only to findthat they closed early. Again. They also refused to pick up their call-in orders. Again. A few months ago, I called in anorder, and was handed the wrong one. When I called about it as soon as I discovered the problem at home, the employee thatpicked up the call said to call back the next day for either a replacement sandwich or a refund. Couldn't even eat the wrongsandwich due to an allergy. I did, and received the run around that we can't give refunds or exchanges without a manager, and wecan't reach the manager right now (left a number, checked back in a few times, then gave up on being contacted). At this point,they need to retrain the employees on proper protocol. Never EVER trust the no receipt option at this store. The only reason Igo back is it's one of my boss's favorite chain shops, and I'm about to go out of my way just to never walk into this Auburn,MAlocation again. Not worth the fighting, and disappointment. Avoid it. Read more
Food was great, but sandwich area where they make the food was very dirty with food debris. Employees should remember to wipe... down work stations regularly. Other than that we had good service and the employees were friendly. Read more
Called at 7:40pm on Monday Dec 5th to order take out. The first words out of the girls mouth was "just so you know, we close at... 8pm". Really? Great way to earn future business when you're more worried about the time than serving the public. This is whathappens when you hire monkeys, you get peanuts. Read more
