Dropped by this local as it was 90 degrees in the shade and I had a nostalgia memory of a Fribble. Went to the walk up window.... Service was slow as there were only two young ladies working. Both were friendly and professional. A look at the ice cream menuwas an eye opener as they were out of at least ten flavors including chocolate. I ordered two Fribbles, one chocolate and onestrawberry. Glad they are made with milk and syrup not ice cream. The total for the two was almost 13 bucks including tax. Theywere far smaller then I recall them being. The large was about the size of a Dunkins medium coffee. In 90 degree weather theydid hit the spot. Read more
Food has been usually excellent. However, im unsure if this is due to new staff of something, but the last few times, we tried... to order online, and picked it up at the exact time given. food was incredibly wet and soggy with grease,, ice cream wascontaminated with other flavors, not to mention poorer quality than usual (gross sour flavor, not cleaning scoops?) I was passing through Auburn, MA earlier today. I was hungry, and Siri kindly suggested a couple of nearby spots. I hadn't been... to a Friendly's in ages and so I chose that option. It was lunchtime, and the place was packed. When we were at our table andlooking at the menus, a server came by to ask if we had been helped. We had not - though we hadn't been waiting long - so theserver, Matt, asked if we were ready to order. Matt was a hoot. Our order was simple, and Matt took no notes. I commented onthat, and he laughed and said he could remember it. He did. And the food came quickly. In short, Matt made a routine lunchstop into a pleasant break in an exhausting day. Great example of excellent customer service. I actually felt as if I waspersonally disappointing him by not ordering desert (we had an appointment). Awesome experience!! The manager Matt helped my party of ten find two tables near each other. Our servers - Ellie and Jess - had... a ?rivalry? between our two tables to see who could serve our party better. Both servers were fantastic - Team Ellie all the waythough!! Matt checked in on us and was super attentive at all times. We tipped them well. Definitely a great place to stop. Read more
Ordered ice cream through Friendly's app. Of the 3 dishes of ice cream I ordered, only 2 got delivered. I tried to call the... store, but no answer. I drove down to the store, as this is not the first time my order has been messed up. When I asked for thesundae I was missing, the lady told me that they were out of the ice cream I had wanted and just went about her business. Therehad been no attempt by the store to contact me to let me know that BEFORE the delivery driver had showed up to pick up my order.There was also no attempt made by the employee I spoke to to remedy the situation. I asked to speak to a manager and requested arefund. Won't be ordering food from this place again. They were content on charging me for the ice cream I did not get andwouldn't have rectified it had I not driven to the store. Read more
So the men's bathroom here was nasty. Like need to blast those toilet hinges with Clorox nasty. But I had to give this place 5... stars because not only was all of our food delicious (family of 6), but the service here was outstanding. Our waitress, Gina,was really great. Friendly, fast, and really on top of everything despite the place being packed on a Thursday evening.Hopefully the owner sees this review and gives her a big raise because she deserves it. Read more
Wow I thought that there were not like 2 left and this was one. Turns about there are still about 130 Friendly?s still around. ... Family friendly food was what we expected. Right size servings and ice cream for desert took us back to the before times. Friendly and attentive staff at this location. Thanks for maintaining a classic. Read more
