Moonflower Macarons has the BEST macarons that I have ever had. I love macarons, and I have had them in NYC, Boston and other... large cities. The flavors were perfect, they are a perfect balance of crisp outer layer and flavorful filling in between thelayers. I recently was diagnosed with a gluten allergy..... but these are gluten free. I am a macaron FANATIC and hold them to a very high standard. When I walked in this afternoon and not only saw such creative... flavors and designs (Dark and Stormy looks like a tidal wave), but some of the best macarons I've ever tasted! My grandmother is obsessed with macarons. Yesterday, on a Syracuse eats page I discovered people highly recommended Moonflower... and we decided since we are local to Auburn to try them out. We usually end up traveling to Syracuse or Rochester for a goodmacaron, but these were by far the best we have ever tried. I loved the menu to remind you of the flavors when you get home andthe cookies literally melt in your mouth they?re so delicious and fresh. I?m already planning my next visit. What a greatexperience. Ah.maz.ing!!! Every flavor we've tried has been wonderful. I think my favorite, which I tried today, is the Frosted Animal... Cookie. I actually went back a second time because one wasn't enough! Very good macarons. The Sea Salt & Caramel macarons are great. We ordered in February and that month they had flavors like... Cookies & Cream and Vanilla & Chai which were absolutely amazing. For Valentine?s Day they had a special Guava macaron and youcould really taste the guava. Some of the other fruit flavored macarons could have used a little more flavoring; it was hard totaste the raspberry, lemon, strawberry, etc. But they all still tasted very good. Read more
