Been staying at this hotel regularly for over a year due to work travel in the county. Used to just come to Refinery for drinks,... but lately have been eating dinner here more. Bar service has always been great, and the food has gotten notably tastierrecently. Try their desserts! Read more
Atmosphere was cozy and eloquent. I got a lemonade and my fiancè got a caramel snickerdoodle martini. Both drinks were... phenomenal. Then for an appetizer we ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese. Oh. My. Goodness... The balance of the pork,pasta, cheese sauce, and barbeque sauce was divine. I was surprised at how good it was. This had that wow factor that seems tobe so hard to come by these days. For entrees we both went with something light; i got a pork belly sandwich, fiancè got aroasted chicken sandwich. Both tasted amazing. My sandwich came with truffle fries that had a garlic parmesan topping. It alsotasted well. Although it tasted great, the pork belly sandwich had an awkward consistency due to pork belly being fatty andchewy (which is normal) and the bread was very hard. Due to how well the rest of the meal was, I only knocked it down to a4.75. Overall a great and fulfilling (literally I'm stuffed) experience. Read more
Good place to have a healthy and extremely tasty meal. The restaurant is good for groups, family( kids friendly) or even... business. If you are in Auburn region and you want to have a meal or just a drink at a bar this restaurant is worth the drive,the portions are are worth the price both for drinks and food. Read more
We frequent this restaurant due to the fact we have never had a bad experience, that being said, our experience last night was... inexcusable. We found our server to be un-friendly, we ordered the "Seward Platter" which we had had one time prior. So weordered again last night to show our friends how good it was. To our surprise it was half the size of the first time, lacked thevariety of fruit as well as different kinds of cheese. It came with a bowl of yogurt, but no fruit to dip in it. We receivedsome grapes, cheese, and crackers. We expressed to our server our confusion explaining that we had ordered this same thing a fewnights ago and it was extremely different than the one we were served last night. We explained how the first time there wasmore of a variety of fruit and this is what we were brought to compensate. Old, bad, apples. 15$ for this tray. Our server thentold us, "I'm going to be honest, I made it myself because it's really busy". We were planning on having dinner but after theserver and the disappointing platter we left and went elsewhere. We are unsure about returning. Read more
