I was pleasantly surprised with my visit to Rock Pasta at Lakeland Hills. It was just after 3p and while the happy hours... specials were in place, the chicken strips and the meatballs were not part of this special. A bit disappointing as that wouldbe what I would've preferred to have. I did end up ordering the 2 brisket street tacos with the waffle chips and those werefantastic. ???????????? It was nice and super hot outside so we sat on on the patio. They had the water misters going so it was nice. They seemed to be... in a rushed to take our order. After ordering our food didn't see our waitress again until our pizza was done. Which was whatseemed like forever. My daughter spilt her water that we got before we ordered the pizza. Not very attentive to guest when outon patio. But over all good pizza super hot, and got us in last minute and wasn't to bad price wise. Read more
We haven't been here for about 3 years and were pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza was. We had the meaty beaty big and... bouncy pizza and it was delicious. The crust was perfect with just a bit of crunch to it. My wife ordered a salad and it washuge and delicious! We'll probably dine here more often now. Unfortunately I didnt take pictures. Went here yesterday for happy hour and had a great experience. Bartender was awesome, friendly, and quick with the service. ... Food was pretty killer we ordered the nachos off the happy hour menu and they were definitely the star of the show. Highlyrecommend getting a full order if you’re sharing its good. Pizza was decent, being Italian and from NY the sauce could use alittle touch up but otherwise great crust and toppings, meat lovers was a good choice. I've been coming here for years, and witnessed the great (multiple) rebranding(s) so be prepared to see the logo change. I have... always enjoyed their pizzas- specifically the embarrasing-to-say "meaty-beaty-big-and-bouncy" (prepare to blush as you order).Throughout all the rebranding this place has bee legit! Food was amazing. I was skeptical of the roc. I have my reasons. I was blown away of the well cooked pizza and the wings. The... brown sugar cheese bread blew my mind. Well put together flavors with the dips. Now. The hostess sat us down at a filthy table.Meanwhile all I hear is servers and tik toking and sitting to my right. It didnt seem like time was being managed properly beingthat we were sat at a dirty wet table in their view. I could hear everything they were saying. So that's my review and I'm beingbrutally honest here because it was my friend's birthday and I didn't want to be that guy that night. $250 bill and the serverwas so tiny we had to wipe the rest of the table because she couldn't reach it.
