I grew up near the original location of Buddy's Pizza, so this pizza is a staple of my childhood. I've visited multiple... locations, but the pizza at this location was unrecognizable for a Buddy's pizza pie. My review is related to the pizza only,not the staff. The staff was great, but the pizza was more like a dry flatbread then the traditional quality I've come to expectof Buddy's. The ends are the best part, but here they're soft and flat not like a deep pan pizza. After looking at some of thephotos on the other reviews, it seems this location just doesn't have the proper technique for making Buddy's pizza. All oftheir pizzas look thin to me, but if this is the only experience you've had...you wouldn't know. Maybe a training at theoriginal location might help them see where they're going wrong. I would not return to this location as I can get a better piefor the same money at one of the other locations. Read more
I tried the Detroit style pizza for the first time and I am happy that I started with the Buddy’s Pizza. Undoubtedly enjoyed... the Greektown pizza. It was so delicious and mouth watering, definitely would suggest to try out. Read more

Enjoyed a meal today at Buddy's. Pleasant staff and good food. I do have to comment about the honesty of the staff. I... misplaced my phone and I called there and they had it at the check on desk. When I got there I showed them it was my phone andoffered to give a reward to whoever found the phone. Manager and staff refused to accept money and said they have a great groupof employees.
