We went to the Rainforest Cafe yesterday. I have to admit that I had my doubts, but it was really cool! There was a... thunderstorm every half hour, and fish aquariums, not to mention jungle animals scattered all over. Pretty disappointed with our experience. I took my son here to celebrate his 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthday (he is now 8). He loved... it! Tonight my daughter turned 1 and we were just as excited to see her reaction to such a fun place! The food has never beengreat to me, it was always about the experience. The animals were not moving like usual and when we asked why, our waitress toldus they over heat often because they are old. The lights in the whole restaurant turned off for a decent amount of time. We alsomade reservations for 7 (all they had available) by time we were passing out dessert, they shut the lights off on us. Ourwaitress was amazing and funny. My daughter still loved the fish tanks, just disappointing the whole experience (I feel like wepay for this with the price of the food) wasn?t there. I would not order the fajita I would not order. It was not very good. My husband order the chicken fried chicken with potatoes... which was amazing. We have been to the rain forest cafe in Galveston Texas and grapevine Texas and we love them all. Read more
The experience was overall great. Both times I dined in the customer service was friendly & welcoming. Kids loved the set up &... atmosphere 10/10 Food was 5/10. Very Expensive & regular tasting. Beyond burger was decent. Ordered the Mozzarella flat bedw/arugula? best of the two. Read more

The experience is great, decorations were awesome & very well kept up. The food this time was average, the fish tacos needed... more sauce and the nachos were unbelievably dry. We also had to wait close to 45 minutes after the kids meals arrived to get ourfood which sucked. But...I will say the egg rolls were 5/5. Read more
Really cool place for kids and adults!!! This place is really cool and parents bring your kids here to eat.... they will... definitely let you enjoy and eat your food because there is so much to look at from your dining table that will keep they eyesmoving. Booked a reservation, last week we tried to walk in when we saw half the tables open and were told it would be an hour wait.... This time we were seated immediately. Things were pretty clean for a super kid friendly place, all the animatronics wereworking, though some looked to be in pretty rough shape. Our server, who was also the bartender, took our drink order and foodorder and let us know the kitchen was short staffed so it would be about 15 minutes for our cheese sticks and our daughtersentree. We kept her occupied walking around looking at the displays. It was about 8 minutes before drinks hit our table and 25before the apps and kids pizza. Cheese sticks were your standard frozen GFS special, not worth 12 bucks but they never are. Mydaughters pizza was sad, almost hospital cafeteria sad. She didn't like the cheese and would only eat the sauce, but she's 2 sothat's not surprising. Her apple sauce came its a little sealed Motts plastic container and two orange wedges tossed in (fromthe bar maybe?). My wife and I ordered the fish and chips thinking deep fried fish and fries wouldn't take long. 20 or 25minutes after the apps came our food finally showed up. The fries were room temp, undercooked and soggy. The fish was warm,super greasy and bland. After the wait time it was pretty disappointing. I didn't mention anything to the server or stiff him onthe tip.. Mostly because i didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for fresh fries and just wanted to get out of there. I showedup on time for our 545 reservation and paid the bill at 715. Wouldn't have been as big a deal if the food was actually good, butwe paid 75 dollars for pretty below average bar food. Read more
