Their team is awesome! Our swim team was in town for a meet and their manager was able to accommodate us on short notice. ... Their servers did an amazing job keeping everyone's orders organized and the food came out quickly even with our large group. Was looking for a place to eat and remembered that Red Ox Tavern was nearby. Stopped in and was promptly seated. I ordered the... Chicken Pot Pie. It was just exquisite in taste. Hearty and Filling to put it best. My server was on top of her game.Granted it wasn't busy but she still looked after her tables. Read more

Red ox is a great place! The service was really quick, and friendly. They have a lot to choose from. There's literally something... for everyone. Their breadsticks and cream cheese dip are a must try. I had the chicken potpie and it was delicious. I highlyrecommend this place. Update, went here again had the piazza, and breadsticks with their cream cheese dip. Very good, highlyrecommend it. The service was really good. Read more
Food here is great. The staff we had each time we were here was great. Lots of tvs and even Shuffle board, does get very busy.... They did have the music a little to loud. Read more
Somebody's got a case of the Monday's. Service was ok but not stellar. Food was ok but not quite to the level of pretty... good. Atmosphere was decent enough. The general inside area was reasonably clean. Worth an occasional visit if your routinelyin the area but if you're traveling through maybe consider other places. Read more
My friends and I were seated just before 10 pm and when our waiter came around after a while of us sitting and viewing the... appetizers on the menus, he said "The kitchen is closing in 5 min." My table wasn't aware of that & it's not like we wereordering pasta or steak or anything. It made our table feel awkward and like they didn't want to serve us... (also not that I'mbitter or anything but the table next to us ordered a full pizza 10 min later & their waiter didn't bat an eye) anyways, weordered some basic menu items and appetizers like brussels sprouts, fries, breadsticks, chicken tenders... Our waiter took allour orders really fast & then quickly put in our drink orders & left without even getting all our orders in (one of our friendsnever got a chance to order one). The waiter didn't come check on us again until all our drinks were empty (didn't ask if wewanted re-fills at all) & then gave us the check... even though the place didn't close until 2am and it was only 11pm... Mindyou, there weren't people waiting to be seated, and my group & I were hoping to order more drinks and chat longer. We feltunwelcome and left instead of hanging out at the bar on a saturday night -_- Ok last thing: the breadsticks were ok butshould've come with marinara, not cream cheese- they aren't bagels. Great atmosphere and excellent service. They have a pretty varied menu so there's definitely something for almost everyone. The... food was great and prices not too bad, either. Also, they have 40 different kinds of craft beer on tap from all overMichigan. And really clean and we'll decided bathrooms, as well.
