So google states they close at 10 pm. The front door states 9 pm. The sign on the front door states that the inside closes an... hour earlier. They locked the doors at 7:39 pm after seeing my significant other tug on the door to make sure it was open. A bitdisappointed because we don?t have a location back home and we drove a bit far to get here. They saw us both walking uptogether. Someone locked the door without saying a word. It was odd. Update: After calling the location, the prompt states thatthey close at 8 pm Sunday to Thursday. There?s a lot of mixed signals on when your close time actually is. It would be reallygreat to update this to google and update your front sign or voicemail prompt depending on which time the accurate time is.Thank you Read more

Wow they changed this place quite a bit. It's now a typical fast food place. Order at kiosk, pick up when called. Only open til... 8 or 9. It used to be a great little hangout to get some grub after the bar/club/party/whatever. The food tasted just a good asbefore. Read more
This is not the steak and shake I know, you order from a kiosk where the menu is half of what it used to be, seat yourself, get... your own drink, utensils, condiments, and then your food once your order is called. I like the old way better. Food was goodstill so that's a plus. Read more
I just ate here with my husband for the first time in a couple of years! We will not be back. Steak and shake used to have... awesome gourmet shakes and awesome burgers with multiple flavors of fries. Not anymore. I ordered a M&M shake and it was awful. All they did was put a few m&Ms into a vanilla shake. The burger was dry and tasted awful as well. My husband's shake was justsuper plain. A strawberry shake but back when we first started going here, a strawberry shake used to have chunks of realstrawberry and lots of whipped cream! Not any more! I haven?t eaten at a steak n shake for a while now. Since they closed the one near Lakeside mall. When we went in i was... confused at first. Then i realized there were no servers. All the staff was behind the counter and you have to order thru thekiosk whether for dine in or carry out. It was a bit of a struggle ordering at the kiosk because we were looking for ourfavorites?we were disappointed. They have a limited menu now. They took away the royal burger,frisco burger, and sliders. Theside by side shakes are gone as well as my favorite chocolate covered strawberry shake. So i ended up ordering a western burgerand fries and a drink. Everything was disposable except the red basket and the trays. The spiced vinegar and the steak n shakeseasoning are gone. They call out the order number and you get your own cutlery. The drinks are self serve as well. Luckilythe burgers are still good and the fries?i cant stop eating coz its so good! I miss my vinegar though :( so check out the menubefore you go because of the limited menu. The other customers were looking for chicken tenders for their little ones and theydidn?t have it.
