Their Mac and cheese looked so good but my son who is 10 months old and wants to share everything I have is severely allergic to... dairy. I asked if they have a dairy free option because you just never know especially in a big city. She said she did not BUTthe owner went above and beyond for my son. She offered freshly boiled noodles that wouldn't have any cross contamination andsome marinara sauce as well. My momma heart felt so seen and loved in that moment. She never once made me feel like a burdenwhich happens alot when I request dairy free. She actually seemed happy that she had something she was able to offer. And sinceshe gave me a little bit for my little guy I was able to indulge for myself. I had the macho nacho mac-n-cheese and my friendhad the BLT. Both were so good! I have to question how this place is recommended as a great Mac and cheese in the area. This cost $9! It had one scoop of liquid... cheese added and I was going to ask for more but it cost $1 extra. I carried it directly out to my car to taste and the cheeseon top is just a lump. No seasonings, not bread crump/chip topping. Don?t understand why it cost so much . Just horrible. All of it. The customer service, the food etc. At the time i went their was two younger girls, who were super... rude, sarcastic and laughed at everything we said. There was also a middle aged man, who was even more rude and childish. Gaverude/sarcastic remarks over asking about a certain pita they sold. Never used one single manner. He was mad that i asked for oneextra napkin etc. i should?ve walked away when they were rude asking what we wanted and made our food. After all of that. Themac and cheese was HORRIBLE. Cheese looked chunky and old. The chicken looked purple and black. The pita we couldn?t even eat bcwe lost our appetite but it also looked disgusting! Now it?s been 2 days and me & my sister both have food poisoning. We werethe only ones to eat this food out of the whole family and we are the only ones throwing up non stop. Shame. Shame. Shame. There are so many variations to choose from, but being in the detroit area I had to go with the coney dog mac ncheese.
