I have always been a great fan of Captain D's. The Deansbridge Road location gives horrible service. Staff repeatedly has shown... a bad attitude. Bathroom is always blocked off. I assume they have cleaned it early and don't want anyone in it. Read more
Did an online order through Captain D?s, not a third party site, and still had to wait almost 30 minutes for my food. I arrived... on time, they instructed me to pull up, and no one ever brought my food to me. I went inside after waiting 20 minutes, and myfood was just sitting on the counter. No one even attempted to bring it out to me, and my food was not hot. The young ladies atthe counter did not even attempt to be apologetic, but instead laughed and said have a nice night. Yeah, I would have had a nicenight if my food wasn?t cold and was delivered to me on time. What?s the purpose of ordering ahead when you still have to waitan extra 20 minutes? Update: Just opened my food and didn?t receive 6 of my shrimp, when I ordered a 2 piece and 6 shrimp meal. Read more
They forgot my bag of pies an refused to give me the second green beans I ordered. The food is hot and very well done but this... last experience when I went back across town to pick up my missing items was bad training and attitude. She KNEW my pies werenot given to me and all I got was an adamant ?HERE!? And refusal on beans saying I got hush puppies instead. (It comes w hushpuppies and I asked before ordering to confirm. Our meals consisted of shrimp, fish, cole slaw, and fries. My husband asked the waitress to change his cole slaw to green beans... and she said she would, however when she brought the meal to our table, there was cole slaw on it. He asked her to change andshe mumbled something about having to give him another new plate...I spoke up and said he just wants the green beans. We neversaw her again during our meal. She totally ignored our request. The fries were cold and not crisp. The fish was good and theshrimp were a bit greasy. Captain's D's is a hit or a miss. The girl that helped us at the Register was very very nice. The girl at the window was very rude when I had to come back and... asked for some hot broccoli mine was cold. Her response was I don't know if it's hot or not when she gave it to me. the 5 starsare for the head cashier. Read more
I ordered the deluxe seafood platter via the drive through. We were greeted by a young lady who sounded as if she hated her job.... Definitely not chic fila customer service. Broccoli tasted like it was boiled for 50 minutes no seasoning. Crab stuffed shellwas mushy. Literally spit it out. Fish had no texture to it. Shrimp batter was so thick I couldn't taste the shrimp. Fries weregreasy and the best part of the meal. I haven't eaten at Captain D's in 20 years and after tonight I won't eat there ever againunless I'm kidnapped and force fed against my will. Read more
I?m so irritated! I don?t live close to Captain D?s so that makes it worst. I ordered my food, I repeated my order, got it... repeated back to me, sat in line, and my order was still wrong. I had the fish tender meal with a STRAWBERRY cheesecake. Younglady asked me if I wanted strawberry toppings, I said yes, got charged for it, only to get home and NO strawberries! Read more
