Wife and I chose to eat here for the first time for our anniversary. The team treated us like royalty, got us a great seat, had... a special printed notecard on our menus for the special occasion. They did a great job of presenting the options, but I will saythey do discourage you from changing the menu in order to preserve the flavor palette. I did get the sausage app and it wasreally good with their homemade sauce pairings. Wife got the lamb chop (an off menu summer special) and I got the crab cake(also an off menu summer special) we tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was nice. Noise level was moderate, to ratherloud. If you're looking for a quiet experience, this isn't it. However, it's not so loud you won't hear each other. Service isexcellent. Nia was our waitress and she was phenomenal. You can tell they train their staff extensively. Wine drinkers haveroughly 4-5 choice for wine by the glass, but lots more for wine by the bottle. Interesting enough, they are a retailer as wellmeaning you can have any leftover wine corked and sealed to take home. They are also "dayboat" certified, which means that theirseafood is really fresh. My wife and I have been here 3-4 times and it’s always an amazing experience. The food is the absolute best to be had in the... Augusta area. Whether you get a standard menu option or one of their specials. Ingredients are locally sourced which promotessmall business as well. I had the butcher steak and fries which was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a slight outer crust.Comes with an amazing sauce that compliments the rich beef flavor and is also good for dipping the accompanying fries. Whichbrings me to my last comment. FRENCH FRIES! These are the best fries I’ve ever had. So simple yet so good and they give you atremendously massive amount which is plenty if your date can’t stop picking from your plate. My wife had the crab cake withrisotto which was just as amazing and plentiful. The crab cake was 95% crab meat so you get plenty to eat as well as the massivebed of creamy risotto. Not to mention their great drink menu of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer. Frog Hollow Tavern isdefinitely an experience you’ll enjoy and wont forget. Read more

Impeccable! Let's get money out of the way. You're going to be spending quite a bit, but it is well worth it. For a party of two... we totaled out at around $180+. Whether you are traveling through Augusta or simply looking for a recommendable place, this isit. Be sure to make reservations. We were fortunate to still get a table the same day; it was the last one available. There'sa nice lounge & seating area for those that arrive a bit early. A waitress may bring you drinks while you wait and socialize. Asyou are seated you'll be greeted by knowledgeable and kind staff. What a wonderful EXPERIENCE and not just dinner. Absolutely everything- from start to finish - was incredible! Let me share some... details with you. First: SERVICE, which was professional, friendly, accommodating, prompt, attentive, and creative. Second:FOOD, which was pure art and also unique, fresh, delicious, beautiful, and enjoyable in 1000 ways. Third: ATMOSPHERE, which wasso pleasant and relaxing, we hardly wanted to leave. My friend Maria came from Atlanta to celebrate my 8 new Salesforcecertifications, and I’m glad I chose this restaurant because it was absolutely perfect for our cloud career celebration. Iloved sitting by the large window overlooking Downtown. I love the white tablecloth. I loved the multitude of candles to set usin the chill mood since we are both high achievers and career ladies.
