My husband and I ventured to downtown Augusta for breakfast after work this morning and had an amazing vegan breakfast here!! I... have never been able to say those words in the same sentence before and I am so grateful to have found a vegan breakfast spot. The service was amazing, we were greeted immediately upon entrance. The coffee was delicious I had the Bees Knees (Hot) and myhusband had the Chai Tea with agave. To eat, I had the Mastermind Grits Bowl and my husband had the Back of House Creole PotatoHash Bowl! Both were very filling and scrumptious, however I do wish that my grits were served hotter than they were. We alsohad a biscuit on the side along with two cherry cream cheese danishes that were very buttery and delicious but a little dry.Overall, I love The Bees Knees and will definitely be returning ???? Great coffee, best biscuit and jam I've ever had!! Cute shop with excellent craft coffee, fresh delicious food and bakery... items. Didn't realize it was VEGAN till I ordered, because I would probably not have eaten there....but I'm so glad I did!Everything was delicious, they have non-vegan egg and cheese, so I mixed between in the "back of the house" bowl I got.Definitely going to be a regular spot for me. You want to talk about a cool place and the coolest location, check out bees knees !! They are not only a cute coffee shop with... craft drinks as well but serve as a thrift shop as well in the back having old vinyls and clothes! Then you sit out on the sidewalk or up in the windows like a model on display and can gaze across the street at the pottery store making coffee mugs byhand! Such a great stop on our way back home. Can't wait to go back to try some of their food options! Read more

Very helpful staff!! They break down everything and are very knowledgeable. Such a laid back and calm atmosphere. The tofu bacon... and Just Eggs on the Beckon was so good, we had it in the wrap. Will be back! Read more

Cute cozy atmosphere but that’s all the good I have for it. Service was not friendly nor knowledgeable and not only was my... apple chai underwhelming it was ridiculously small. No way it was a 12oz. Read more

Had an okay experience. Environment was cute, but the service was uninspired. The food was decent—not enough jelly for the... size of the biscuit. I probably could has asked for more, but it should come with enough in the first place. The turnover wasdelicious. I’ve been here several times and the coffee used to be amazing, but lately has gone a little downhill. Got a latteand the milk was very off. Watery and maybe a little old. The presentation was beautiful, but very much in contrast with itstaste. Maybe I just came on a bad day, but those seem to be happening a little more often. When they first reopened, The BeesKnees blew my socks off. Had the rosemary biscuit and it tasted like something I’d read about in The Lord of the Rings. The‘curios’ section seems a little underdeveloped. I expected to see intriguing antiques, artwork, and gifts but it’s mostlyclothing with a few records and some vague art here and there. It’s an adorable and unique concept, just needs a little moreoomph. Read more
