Okay, so moving from Dallas, TX. where we had over 8 pizza options within a 5 mile radius that a majority are your typical... franchises, to Sidney, ME where I still have over 8 pizza options but now within a 30 mile radius and a majority are locallyowned. No one delivers to our town as we are outside the "main" city limits. So I have to select pick up for whatever pizzaplace I choose. So far I've had the generic franchise standard pizza, a local joint that had over 4 stars on Google, and aplace called College Carry-Out that not only had over 4 stars but several locals recommend. I will just say, that even with allthe options I had in Dallas, and the many culinary experiences in my 40+ years, this place made my top 5! Friendly staff,perfectly located about 15 mins from my town. Offering custom orders for even the pickiest pizza Karen's, and the 16" is alwaysa nice option for my family who has a hefty appetite. The pizza and it's ingredients were so freaking tasty! I even ate thecrust! Which honestly many of us are guilty of leaving on our plates or being tossed to the dog with those other pizza places. Ihave found my new favorite pizza spot! Great job on this one! Just another reason why I love Maine. So many locally ownedbusinesses by amazing people! Read more
Google won't let me put the expletives I want in here but just know the language I used to describe how amazing this place is,... is very colorful and will probably get me fired if I ever said that in a meeting. Pineapple belongs on pizza and I'll fightanyone who disagrees. Bring your own Sock 'em Boppers cause my extra pair broke. Anyways, I eat here about once a week. I'd domore but I'm poor. Read more
Had not been in for a while. They were busy but keeping up Staff polite which can be unusual these days. I really appreciated... it And for probably the first time ever a really good pita with the dagwood Never noticed how a dry stale pita takes a lot fromthe sandwich. Great place for food! Had Steak and cheese sandwiches that were good. Their pizzas a great and they deliver!!!
Very yummy and very affordable! I stopped in a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised about how tasty the pizza was, not to... mention how quick they were to finish up the order. I did a take out order and ate in on my way back from the beach with mygirlfriend. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for some good 'za and some great service and prices as well. Normally college carryout is great however the quality/quantity of their food appears to be reducing and prices are not... comparable. Today I placed an order for delivery and only received 1 item ordered when I called back and said I wanted tochange the tip ($10) because I didn't receive the whole order and I was unable to change it. I would have been fine with that ifthere had been even a little compensation for not getting my order correct but the person on the phone had no initiative torectify the mistake or was willing to use a tone beyond annoyance. I do not like the food from the deli. I got an order of mozzarella sticks once and they weren't even hot and the cheese was not... melted. Another time I got a veggie Italian and it was gross. Every time I do go in to get a soda the person at the cashregister always yells at me if I have an order. I can be standing in front of the soda cooler or even the milk cooler when theydo this.
