Great location, sweet and friendly staff, and a menu with lots of variety that made it hard to choose! Music and ambiance was... enjoyable. Nearby free parking. Reasonable prices for the quality. The sweet potato fries were seasoned with cinnamon. Yum!Best part- super quick getting the food to the table. Only downside: the front door squealed in such a way every time it wasopened that it sounded like a pterodactyl squeaking. Every.time. :) Read more
Excellent food.... BBQ pork was spot on. Cornbread was very Good! Sweet like Southern Cornbread should be. The Hushpuppies with... cheddar cheese was something new for me but it will be a trick to take home with me Yummy Good!! Let us not forget the sweetpotato fries!! Good as I have had ever!! We (2 couples) were very happy to find such a great BBQ on our vacation from NC. we areaccustomed to great BBQ... We were not disappointed. Read more
Was on a road trip, randomly stopped in Augusta for lunch on a sunday. this was the only place open. This was the best meal of... our whole trip. The jerk chicken sandwich was delicious and the coleslaw was maybe the best I've ever had. Nothing fancy butwhoever is making that food has their priorities straight. Can't reccomend enough. Our first time visiting here...and the aroma of delicious BBQ has your mouth watering before you enter the door! Large portions.... Great selections on the menu. Service and food was great. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Maine! Read more
I've been here multiple times and it's continually going down hill, was excited for my Crab and Slab after a long day. FYI they... don't serve the beans, slaw, or cornbread as advertised apparently. Very sad about this. Crab Cake AND ribs are overcooked/burnt too. $29.15 pre tip. Just go to state lunch instead. Read more
PLEASE, go see my girl Cindy at the "Riverfront". She'll give you awesome service and great laughs if you interact. But the... secret is the food! OH MY, BEST GUMBO North of New Orleans! And the Memphis BBQ ain't half stepping. I love Maine as the beststate in America. Moreover, the food found there is simply the best, even transplanted food like that found at "Riverfront". Stop in, get their sausage and key lime pie that has an unexpected flare - see if you figure it out ????! You will never bedisappointed at the Riverfront BBQ & GRILLE! I had the jambalaya and it was wonderful. Really hit the spot on a cold evening. Huge portion and the cornbread was giant also.... My wife enjoyed her brisket although the little taste I had wasn't my favorite but it was good. Read more
