Blue Stem lunch menu is fantastic! Prices are great on sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts... Everything! Service was very... attentive! My husband even got ice tea refills which is his mark of a good restaurant. Food was fantastic and plentiful! And theview is to die for. Can't wait to see it this fall! ???????? Read more

Beautiful location and surroundings, but food quality and preparation missed on both counts. We visited Bluestem this evening to... celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the filet and my wife ordered the special of the day rosemary pasta with shrimp. We alsoshared the appetizer shrimp cakes, which were in fact very good. The filet that I had ordered medium rare was found to be cookedway beyond well done with not a trace of pink showing. When I got the waitress’s attention, she went back to the kitchen toorder a replacement. I requested that it be put in a box for transport home. My wife’s comment about the pasta dish was thatit was missing of flavor. Read more

Only reason for rating is quality of the food. Had the shrimp and grits and was not at all quality food .Some shrimp still had... the tails left on. The view is awesome and our server Avery was one of the best. i would give her a 5 star if I could. Read more

My wife, daughter and I recently had dinner with 3 other couples. The views were splendid however the price was not consistent... with the quality of the food. The Culotte steak is way over priced at 32 dollars (Texas Roadhouse offers a much better cut forless than half the price). The brocollini was under cooked, almost like it was freshly cut but not cooked. I understand thatupscale restaurants undercook their vegetables but this was not appetizing. The kobe burger was charred and lacking taste andthe meat from the beef tips and risotto medium plate was of poor quality. Appetizers were good, service adequate although for aplace that tries to sell an upscale experience it could have been better. The price is not worth the view especially since wehave so many more dining choices. I will not be going back to this restaurant. Read more

The view at this restaurant is what really sets it apart: a peaceful view overlooking fields and a golf course. I had a pasta... dish recommended by the server and it was phenomenal. There is complimentary bread and oil/herb dip to start (who doesn't lovefree bread?!) and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. I would go back again just for the shrimp cakes! I imagine visiting thisrestaurant and sitting on the outdoor patio in the fall would be fantastic! Read more

Our first time out to the Blue Stem in Augusta after hearing all of the buzz about it. What an absolutely awesome evening! The... food was amazing and we found ourselves arguing over who had actually ordered the best meal of the evening; in reality, we alldid! The wait staff was also very attentive and helped to complete a very positive experience - we'll be back soon. Read more

Ok, expected a fine dining restaurant but not! Just a dinner at another golf course grill. Walked in to the dining room and no... table linen or even a place mat. Got the menu from a really good server and noticed the prices were really high for the area. Maybe those rich golfers from Chicago will pay the prices but not the locals? Lighting in the dining area is really bright. When they wanted us to leave, somebody dimmed the lights and that is the way it should have been with candles on the table whenwe walked in. Not After ordering we asked if we got soup or salad! Not How about rolls, breadsticks, local baked bread. Not. We were starving and got nothing but the entree. The food and chef were fantastic. Chef should have made a trip out of thekitchen so we could have told them about the fantastic meals. Great wine and drink list. Had dessert for the three of us andbetter than fantastic. Server was fantastic. Manager walked around the three tables that were full and said hi. Should haveknown better to eat here when we saw a lot of staff and empty tables. But we wanted to try this venue. Know the restaurant isjust beginning to serve dinner but they need a manager who knows how to run a restaurant! You can't charge the prices on themenu they do without a choice of soup or salad. You could not even order a side salad. And no baskets of bread. They couldhave put a great fireplace in the middle of the dining room. The best golf course in the world, Pebble Beach has floodlightsaiming on the grounds so you can see deer, etc. etc. Great view during the day but at night you see nothing. Would be greatto see the snow falling in the winter on the property! So am I going to tell you to visit the restaurant? If you want to pay ahigh price and not get a good value, pay a visit. We will be going to the Canal in Augusta to eat until I hear something hasimproved at the Blue Stem Sent a letter to the restaurant manager and have yet to hear from him o Read more
