Decent Chinese food in a quiet suburban setting. The fish tank is an unusual focal point with bright lights and hydraulic lift!... The place was not busy, but I could see take out orders going out, too. There are a couple of TV's above the bar/frontcounter. Service was good and friendly, though very matter of fact. The food came out quickly but was unremarkable. We had thesesame chicken but it was over breaded and a bit soggy. We also had the green curry which was enjoyable with a nice complexityof flavor and good sauce consistency, but not much heat. Overall, nothing to complain about but nothing great either. Read more

Normally I love this place, we have been loyal customers for years, but tonight was horrible. We were given the wrong to go... order and when we discovered it at home we drove back to exchange. The woman at the desk kept insisting loudly that it was mysons fault. He gave the wrong number she said. 1: phone number she insisted he gave was completely different and he knows mineby heart, 2: he also told her my name which was on our order. Her main concern was to loudly blame my son for her mistake. WhenI asked for a manager I was told she is in charge and I don?t need the manager because they weren?t there. Then another personwalks out and she now says he is the manager and continues to tell him how this whole thing was my sons fault. Btw he was nicebut even he stated she has an attitude problem. I love the food at this place. It's the best in the area. The only problem with Cafe Ambrosia is the customer service, which... goes a long way for me. If you want awesome food order from here. If you want pleasant customer service, go anywhere else. Ifyou want both...good luck. Not only do they take FOREVER to deliver food(2 hours and counting), but they are extremely rude whenyou call to see what's going on. Now I've been informed that my driver left so they need to make my food again. ???. I guesswe'll see how long this takes.... And what quality I receive.
