Above average but not great, still a 5 in my book, explained why at the end of my review: The food I had was decent, adequately... portioned and with generous garlic flavor (I had a combo boil + cajon butter) they were out of various items because of thehurricane and waiting on a restock. The house spicy wasn't really spicy, which is fine, (maybe between taco bell mild and hot)so if you like things really spicy like I do, ask them if they can really turn up the heat? My SO had fried things with tastysauces and we also got some lemon pepper wings that were good. Alcoholic drinks were a bit watery but we didn't really go thereto drink. As for service, it seemed like our server was new at her job and kept forgetting things but at least attentive andprompt, we never felt like we were waiting for anything even though it was busy. So now, I'm gonna to explain why I'm stillgiving them 5 stars and not 3 or 4 . . . The biggest reason is the pandemic and inflation have essentially ruined dine-out or atleast set it back years. The pandemic has made it hard for places like this to stay in business, especially places that serveseafood. Market price for most seafood has increased 8-10% in the last year which might not seem like much until you apply itto already expensive food. Because of the pandemic, a lot of folks have gotten used to ordering there food online throughdelivery services, sometimes not by choice of the restaurant, and definitely at the expense of the restaurant as well as thestaff that depend on gratuity making it harder to properly staff a place. I've watched a lot of my favorite restaurants close,or have to make some hard choices to scrape by. It is a pleasant surprise to be able to add another restaurant that I'm willingto go to on a regular basis. I'll revisit my rating if I change my mind in a drastic way. Read more

Where to begin? Well, first off, I’ll disclose this was my first time coming to Flaming Joe’s. The staff treated us very... well throughout our visit. The other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves too; definitely a local spot which I canappreciate… But the food. Here’s what we ordered: - Hurricane (pricey for a small cocktail) - Spicy Mango Margarita (tastyand refreshing) - Garlic Parm Chargrilled Oysters (very pricey for such tiny oysters but they were tasty; when they’recompletely covered in garlic butter, you can’t really go wrong, I guess) - Fried Catfish Po Boy (salty batter but a nice sizefilet; ordered red beans and rice but they gave us fries by mistake, which they corrected) - Combo (blackened snapper and friedGator)…a few things I’ll need to break down with this: — Need to start off by saying all the food was incredibly salty! It’s obvious management is not reading these reviews because this seems to be a recurring issue. — The red beans and ricehas pork in it, which is common in this style of food but should still be disclosed to customers. I reordered some “FreshVegetables” which definitely were frozen and literally had been sitting in a vat of butter. Horrible. — Gator bites wereundercooked in places — Blackened snapper had a fishy taste to it, which means it was not fresh. Bad sign! For all of thisrather unpleasant food, the prices were insanely high. Everything has a premium price added on top of it. Our meal was over $100which is incredible for a local seafood spot. Yes, the photos are good but misleading; the food was pretty bad. Overall, wewere very disappointed with our visit to Flaming Joes and don’t plan to return. Read more

Good neighborhood seafood bar & grill. Very busy on the weekends, but the waiters work quickly to get your food out. Seafood... boils are good, they give you extra seasonings to add if needed. Would visit again! Read more

One of our new favorite restaurants. Food is awesome and reasonably priced. My 5yr old, 8yr old and both adults loved it. I was... a little disappointed when I saw the blackened catfish, it didn't look blackened enough. But then I wondered why it tasted sodarn good. Among the best black cat I've ever had. Service was good. Host stand was very good with my kids. We have to go back, not only because it was a great experience, but my kid's art is now on display. Read more

I am not a seafood person, but they have some decent non-seafood options. Pickle chips were extra salty, pork rinds are... good. Chicken fried rice had a lot of oil but good flavors especially with spicy mayo on the top. Fishbowl style drinks arepretty good too. The bartenders are amazing. Read more

The store is clean, a bit different than other seafood place. Oyster were fresh and food came quick. I notice everything serve... with the same dipping sauce. A but pricey for comparing to the quality of food I’m getting. The staffs are friendly, they alsohave option to buy drinks for kitchen staffs! Overall, good place if you’re around the area otherwise there are definitelybetter options out there. Read more
