This place is sometimes great but it is so inconsistent it is upsetting. When they get it right, it's so good, however it is... almost never the same. You get what you pay for, I never go here because I want great Chinese food, I go here because you get abox full of food for $10. It is just sad to say but I'm close to giving up on King Wok. Today is the last day I order from this restaurant. I order my food from their online menu, I got a plate or orange chicken... which said it comes with steamed rice. When I went in, the man at the front asked to see the confirmation for the order, whichwas weird. I’ve ordered from this restaurant quite a lot and I’ve never had to show my email confirmation but I assumedmaybe they’ve had issues with people taking orders that weren’t theirs. He went to hand me the bag and I noticed there wasno steamed rice. He said it doesn’t come with it. I’ve ordered this exact meal at least 10 or more times since I startedeating there and it has always come with steamed rice. I told him yes it does, he said it doesn’t, and I said that’s whatyour website says. So he went and got the rice and when he came back, he grabbed one of the paper menus to show me that I waswrong. I then proceeded to pull up their website, their menu, and showed him that it says it comes with steamed rice. He said“oh” and then went to the back of the restaurant. I left and I will not go back. Maybe instead of arguing with me, theyshould make sure their menus are consistent. My food was good which is why they got 2 stars. Update: Their food really isn'tthat great. They give you large portions of meat that look good, but by the time you eat the top layer of chicken, you're leftwith what's basically chunks of breading with no meat at all. Ordered delivery from here and everything came fast. The fried fish is not fresh so it giving that stinky smell. The orange beef... has thick coating and cut into very small pieces. You paid for what you get i guess. Overall, good price but low quality offood. They have chinese scoops option if you come in the store. Old soggy nasty flavorless plastic noodles, rice is not that bad. What was the worst part ???? I got egg rolls!!! UGHHH they... tasted like they were made LAST WEEKEND! Mmmmmm!! I ordered the shrimp fried rice, crab wontons, and chicken egg rolls. Omg everything was so good, let me tell you!... That’s all I’ve had from here, but it was good enough to make me want to come on here and post this review. And the pricefor the portions was very good. I will be a repeat customer for sure!
