I owe this place from an event that took place nearly 20 years ago, which I won't go into. First visit, food was superb,... commented on the abilities of the chief. Second visit, very basic and gave me heartburn. I have confidence in the third visitand future impromptu breakfast and or brunch visits. Read more
The gentleman that was waiting on us was a new employee being trained by an experienced waiter. The gentleman did a great job.
Our first time here. It has a nice diner feel and you can tell the locals love it! We came after lunch and with breakfast served... all day it worked perfect for us as my husband could have his favorite, Fish & Chip while I had a fresh spinach and baconomelette with Swiss cheese and more cheese sauce on top. Great spot for breakfast. Our waiter was great. Only mistake thewaiter made was he forgot to ask us if we wanted pie and gave us our check instead. However we did get pie! After three online orders and them repeatedly getting my orders wrong. I'm done eating here. They forget items on your order,... (was missing three items) cook everything burnt (asked for medium eggs and they came pretty much hard boiled), and forget to addsyrups for pancakes or waffles. I'd advice to eat somewhere else until they learn how to do some quality checks. Read more

Food was great and served very fast. Coffee was hot and fresh. The facilities seemed clean and our server was very friendly,... attentive, and quick to get what was requested and kept the coffee flowing. I had the chicken fried steak skillet with rye, mywife has the turkey bacon avocado melt. Both were great and filling. One of the better Village Inns I have been to. Couldn'thave asked for better. I ordered the double decker sandwich and fries with a slice of coconut cream pie. The sandwich and fries were very good. The... pie, which I’ve gotten many times before, was horrible. It was runny. Almost like it was not set. It didn’t taste right.I’m not sure what was wrong, but it was not good at all. Pretty disappointing considering I’ve had it before and wasexpecting it to be good. Read more
