The place was clean and the staff was very friendly, although the waiter wasn’t super attentive. (I think he was new. He was... very good with us during interactions but then didn’t refill our drinks until the hibachi chef went to find him.) The foodwas just okay, but I think this is partly due to a regional difference. In KY, hibachi is served with a “yum yum” sauce thatisn’t authentic at all, and this restaurant had a spicy mustard and a ginger sauce. About average priced. The chef was verypleasant and skilled. I have been a customer of this restaurant for over 30 years, when they started the business in Bloomingdale. The food is... consistently good and the chefs will make any necessary adjustments to your meal to make it more enjoyable. We love Domo 77!! We’ve been going to Eddie & Suzzies’ restaurants for 40 years. It’s the best Japanese Hibachi style food... we’ve ever had. Their egg yolk batter on shrimp or lobster is fantastic. They also have great tasting french garlic paddies.Great value!!! Read more

My friend Jasmine and I went yesterday after leaving sushi plus due to the long wait and it was pretty great. We shared a plate... and paid the $12 charge and got some drinks. Our chef was great, made conversation and even helped me make my own fried riceeven better. I appreciate that. He was funny too. Even sharing out plate we were still super full cause we also got a spiderroll and we took left overs home. Will definitely return. Read more
