Just one more taco?s place! I order 9 tacos of different flavor, the taste did not impress me, beside the barbacoa taco, all to... go, I request 3 waters wich has more ice than water, no napkins, ( I had to clean my finger with my mouth) ???????????? thelemon was very thin, The service was nice and polite! Im doing this review for the owners to put more attention on this kindof things! I gave my tip of course even it was just for pick up!! Hidden Treasure!! Stopped by for the first time today, I have driven by Jefa Tacos many times & had never seen it before. Their... food is delicious & 100% authentic Mexican. We ordered steak tortas & al pastor tacos. Al Pastor isn?t always good at everyrestaurant but at Jefa Tacos it is soo delicious & a must!! (No wonder they won an award for best tacos in the Fox Valley areain 2021) Also ordered an Horchata which they have free refills for!! Read more

Delicious! We ordered the quesabirria tacos that came as a platter of 4. We also ordered 2 fish tacos. Holy cow! The fish was... cooked perfectly! There was a nice fresh slaw with a mild spicy crema. The quesabirria are superb! Served with lime,cilantro,onion and au jus on the side. HIGHLY recommend. The restaurant is clean and the food is absolutely amazing! I ordered the shrimp tacos, my husband got the dirty fries and a burrito. Firstly let me say the slaw on my shrimp tacos was... great. I?m usually not a fan but the veggies were crisp and fresh. My shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the chipotlemayo made it the perfect bite. My husband said his steak burrito had a great balance of flavors and the meat was marinated verywell. Was in the area and decided to try this little place out and I'm SO glad I did it was AMAZING!!! The hubs had the tamales his... favorite was the chicken. Kids loved the rice. I had a steak burrito suizo style. The sauce on top was a little too hot for me Iwas expecting it to be more of a cheese sauce. I cut it open and OMG one of the best burritos I've ever had I wasn'tdisappointed at all that I couldn't eat the outside layer. It was my fault I didn't ask the hotness level. I've probably been here about 10 times, as I am located extremely close. They do a good job. For the most part, all of my... interactions have been positive. The food is really quite good, but it can be pricey for what it is. The food itself is alwaysfresh hot and made the way I ordered. It just isn't jaw-droppingly good. But I would say better than your average Mexican stop.The chicken/steak tacos are consistent and good, I just wish the 3 plate taco dinner was a little bit more of a deal. If I addcheese/sour cream I end up paying around 16$ for 3 tacos and a small scoop of rice and beans. Really not a good deal inretrospect, just sayin. Hey, inflation and fresh off the pandemic so I kinda get it, but if it's gonna be like that I'm gonnacome less frequently.
