Hands down THE BEST New York Style pizza you will get in Chicago. Have tried all the others and nothing comes close to how... good (and spot on) this place is. The workers are also amazing and friendly. The food is 10/10 in consistency every time wego. One thing to note of importance. For some reason the large pizzas always come out the best. We tried a medium once andit wasn't on par with the larges (maybe something to with with time/temp compared to weight of dough and amount of ingredients). Go for the large anyway. I heard good things about this place so I was excited to try it out. Big letdown. The veggie toppings were just big chunks of... veggies thrown on the top that didn?t even become part of the pie; they were just kind of thrown on there and fell offimmediately when I touched the pizza. The topping quality and presentation was pretty poor, I thought. Cheese and crust werefine and wait time was fine. For what I got, I also thought it was fairly expensive at more than 25 bucks for a 14? pizza. Read more
ETA 12:56 PM, Apr/25: We visited your store located at the New York St, Aurora. My husband ordered & his name was wrongly... spelled on the receipt as Hankush! _________ We went to Little Pops pizzeria for a quick pickup/take out but that quick pickup turned out to be nearly 45 minutes wait time and an unsavory experience. The moment we arrive here we were told they have -No takeaway slices available! As a result to which we ordered a cheese pizza with extra toppings which took more than half anhour! Finally, I found it pretty expensive for a medium-size, also it has no flavors of an authentic NY-style pizza. Not goingback again. Read more
Ohhhh man! This pizza was amazing! Had the Pomodoro (added pepperoni & garlic butter crust) and BBQ Chicken (added bacon). Very... filling and hits the spot. Also the cannolis were very good! Visited Little Italy in New York a few years ago and have neverbeen able to find a good cannoli out here since. Finally have found my go to place. Love it! Read more
Incredibly disappointed, which is something I really hate to say about this place. I generally prefer to support small... businesses and local owners, but after today, not here ever again. I placed an order today looking to try a new option, andunfortunately when the meal was brought back it lacked the additions I had paid for. I attempted to call the location to voicemy grievance - I was placed on hold for several minutes so I eventually gave up. I decided to drive to the location to collectwhat was forgotten and after waiting a few minutes for the employee to finish up a casual sounding conversation, I was asked ifI needed help. I stated that I placed an order and my name, and was immediately told by her that she had removed them fromwhere the rest of my order was and forgot to give them to the employee I had pick up our order. I gave her a blank stare, andshe then asked me if anything was wrong. I responded nothing, just that my lunch was ruined (food is cold at this point and Idon't have a 2 hour lunchbreak at work) which she immediately said in an extremely patronizing manner that she was "Sorry"without doing anything else to rectify the situation. The food here and the family story is something I can really get behind,but if you don't treat your customers like you give a damn, you don't deserve their business. Read more
