Ordered take out food was good but no utensils or napkins at all and I needed them since I wasn't eating at home. If you live in Aurora, IL do NOT get food from New China Hut at 3015 E New York. I opened my Sweet and Sour chicken and had a... nice little visitor floating in the sauce. I contacted the restaurant and they refused to refund me. I have been a customerthere for 20 years. After putting me on hold rudely (just dropping the phone on the counter), having conversations with thefemale employee who repeatedly said “no” over and over; he then argued with me and wanted to come and pick up thesauce…which is fine…but then told me that he is only going to give me a discount on a future order. I protested and told himhe’s treating me like I’m running a scam and I have been a customer for 20 years with no issues ever. I asked him was my $38order worth losing a 20 year customer over, because I will never order from them again based on his response. I worked in therestaurant industry for years, these things happen and aren’t overtly a reflection of the cleanliness of the restaurantoverall. I was willing to give them a chance if they properly addressed this. His exact words were “don’t worry about it,our business is good. We don’t need your money.”…which is ironic because the pending charge is now $52 on a $38order…and they shorted me egg rolls. Share this post and don’t eat out of this disgusting restaurant. Used to enjoy this place but in the past two years, quality has gone way down. Also, lunch and dinner specials used to be 5.85... and 9.35. I understand inflation but their lunch specials are now $9+ for lunch and $14+ for dinner. Like another reviewer said,small portions for big money.
