Tonight we decided to try Papa Saverio's out it has been a very long time since we ordered from them. We ordered a large stuff... pizza. I have to say it was delicious. Pizza is good and sauce has a very mild spice to it. It would try again. Seems to be owned by a local family.
Good quality pizza but thin crust was bit too thin to my liking.
I would give 0 stars if it was possible! We had a horrible experience with Papa Saverio's tonight! We go here often... so we are... very disappointed!! My husband got there to pick up our pizza and they said it got stuck in the oven and was all messed up. Theyshowed it to him and it was a complete mess! They offered a small discount or to make a new one. He asked them to make a new onebecause it didn't even resemble a pizza and would have been hard to eat. So they did and said they would remake a small that wasfine, but would be cold. But when he asked to remake the appetizers (including fried foods) they refused! He had to wait another15 minutes for the pizzas to be done...and they were sitting out on the counter the whole time! Then they only offered an even smaller discount for all of this! He walked out without anything! Unbelievable that this was the level of customer service thatthey offer. We won't be going back! In response to the owner's reply... the only reason it was nearly $100 worth of food wasbecause you had to remake it. If we had felt valued and you had offered or even accepted my husband's request to remake theappetizer, we would have taken the food. It had been sitting on the counter for over 30 minutes when you called to say the newpizzas were ready! That is ridiculous and we will not pay for food that is cold and been sitting out, not even in a warmer! Thenyou call at 8 pm...2 hours after we were to pick up the original pizzas... to ask us to come pick up the food and to pay for it!That is so rude and unacceptable! We have been places where something has been wrong with a meal or a pizza and they comp theitem for the inconvenience and the extended wait! I'm not saying you should have comped the whole thing, but you could haveoffered more than a 15% discount with over an hour wait from when the order was placed and cold appetizers! Great Pizza & great hot sandwiches. I ordered a cheeseburger & cheezey beef with fries. Very good for the price. Food was cooked... on time promised & hot. Great & large menu for a small place but the good food is worth trying this place out. Cooked very welllike your favorite Chef from home would have done it. I really like Papa Saverio’s pizza because it’s tavern style thin crust similar to what I grew up eating in Chicago. My only... complaint is that the toppings are very sparse for the price. I highly recommend the giardiniera as a topping. It’s theperfect amount of heat to add for anyone that enjoys spicy pizza. Read more
