This place used to be good.I used to eat their 2-3 times a week after they got new owners it's really gone downhill especially... the service. Our favorite restaurant for authentic Mexican food, and in Aurora we have a lot of great Mexican restaurants to choose from. We... tried El Tio originally because we heard about the Monday Night $1.00 tacos but we return for their great service and foodchoices. The warm salsa they serve when you arrive is excellent, we even buy it to serve at parties. We visit at least once aweek and are never disappointed. This is a great hole in the wall Mexican joint. The food is excellently prepared and came out quickly. I got a skirt steak and... enchilada plate and it was crazy good. The steak was seasoned well and everything had great flavor. And they bring out threedifferent salsas with their chips, so having some variety is nice. It?s a small space, so it does feel a little cramped and Idon?t think I?d eat their if it was full, as it?d be elbow to elbow, but for takeout or a quick lunch, it can?t be beat. We stopped in to try this place for the first time. Not disappointed at all. In fact, the food was fantastic. The chicken... enchiladas with the green sauce was probably the best I?ve ever had. The one thing I noticed immediately when the plate wasplaced in front of me is that the food looked and smelled incredibly fresh. It turned out to be so. I hate food that?s bland andhas no flavor. Happily that wasn?t the case here at all. The food was fantastic, tasteful and full of flavor. I will definitelybe coming back again and again. This place is highly recommended. You?ll have to try the chicken enchiladas. The flour tortillasin the enchiladas are filled with plenty of white chicken breast meat perfectly seasoned and smothered with green sauce toppedwith perfectly melted Mexican cheese. The beans are particularly delicious too, unlike other restaurants they they don?t seem tocome from a can, they have so much flavor one would think they were homemade. The salsas are flavorful and they give you 3 choices of salsa with chips. The waitresses are respectful. The food overall is... your typical normal Mexican food. The tacos are good but they don?t really fill the taco much. I wish they would?ve given me agood silverware (knife and fork) to eat my food comfortably instead of the plastic spoon. The soft drinks are refreshing and theprice is inexpensive. Good for take out. Read more

First time! Muy rico! I ordered the quesadilla dinner of al pastor and it was super yummy! Came with my family and everyone... loved it. We ordered a piña colada and after the waitress gave it to us a few minutes later she came with another because shesaid the second one was blended better! Attention to detail, good/fresh tasting meat tasty salsas and much variety. Will comeback for sure ???? ???? Edit: went back today and torta de milanesa was so good! Read more
