Went here with family, food took 40+ minutes to arrive, when steaks finally arrived one was fine while two were flipped on what... they were supposed to be cooked, one steak was so dry was impossible to eat without a drink ate only half and couldn?t eat therest. Gave back the steak because we weren?t waiting another 40 minutes for one person to get their steak back and was stillcharged the full price and was offered no other alternative. Service was a little slow but other than that was good. Good lasttime we went but was unacceptable this time. Read more

We came in to have a family celebration for my parents 50th Anniversary. They accommodated us and took great care. We enjoyed... the wood fired steaks, the bread with cinnamon honey butter especially. Our waitress was patient and attentive. Overall agreat dining experience. Read more

I got the ribeye with their Mac and cheese and loaded fries. Let me state, everyone of the 10 person party loved their food and... the waitress serving our table (Caitlin D). She was amazing, funny, and plenty loud for everyone at the table to hearher. Everything at this restaurant I tasted was amazing, the cheddar in the Mac and cheese is so strong and delicious, thefries are crispy when they're not loaded, and the ribeye is so soft it basically melts in your mouth. Their steaks are amazing, their ribs looks plentiful and delicious, I'm not a fish guy but their fried cod looked to die for. On top of that everythingcame out in about 30 - 45 minutes for a Friday at 5-6 pm. Loved their coleslaw too. Read more

Went with a good size party and there was literally nothing good about the experience. Got there at 6pm and didn't get our food... until past 8. The server wrote our orders down and left. We watched another large table that got there well after us order andreceive their food well before us for some reason. All the drinks tasted off, especially the lemonade. When the food finallyshowed up after my mom went and found an employee, the majority of the orders were wrong or missing parts of the dish. I ordereda medium cheeseburger and it came well done. My mom ordered a medium steak and it also came back more than well done. Everyonethat ordered a chicken sandwich said that it was bone dry as well. Also the prices are outrageous and the menu is super plain. If you are going to charge $45 for a steak, it needs to be cooked the way I ask for it to be cooked. Also be aware that theyforcefully add the gratuity for parties of 6 or more so the inept waiter got roughly $50 for doing a horrible job Read more

It use to be one of the best steakhouses. From our experience today it has gone south badly. We was asked to wait to be seated... because there was a group of 12 getting ready to leave. We had a group of 17. So we waited till the other group left. We go into be seated there wasn't enough table area for everyone so we had to set some of the family apart. Then we waited for alongperiod of time to get drinks. It took over 2 hrs to get all our food served to us. When a group of 8 who came in much later thanus, was served almost 30 mins before us. They used to have the best steaks. Not now it tasted like it was baked in the oven. Itwas dry my daughter in laws as dry as well. The hamburgers was fine. We not going back again. Read more

Old River Town Charmer...J. Miller's rendition of a family restaurant, steakhouse, and pub have been melded into one fine dining... experience. The wood fired steaks have a unique flavor that will keep you returning again an again. However, the White CheddarMac-n-Cheese is going to be a staple a definite must have at our next visit as well as the Onion rings, Coleslaw, and shrimpcocktail. My brother had the Filet and Mindy his wife had the Shrimp Skewers and my wife and I both had the Tiffanysirloin...Everyone had a great dining experience...will gladly return in the future even if it is an hour away from out home. They are also willing and able to handle large crowds wanting to share a gathering. We came across this little gem while trying to find a non-chain place to eat that was between Louisville and Dayton and holy... molly, totally worth it! The food was absolutely incredible! The steaks melt in your mouth, the cheesecake was the best I've hadin a decade! We will definitely return! And the history of the place was pretty entertaining too! Read more

So excited for this place! Opening a saloon upstairs and great food downstairs. You can't miss the history and nostalgia along... the breathtaking Ohio River. Down home treatment with staff that talk to you and love the history. Food is good, theexperience is better. Hoping to see and hear some fun music when the upstairs returns to the exciting life it used to have. Alot of potential here, love it! Read more
