My wife got food from this place today. I am totally disappointed. Lowest quality ever. Chicken was not cooked properly,... koobideh was pink inside and … My kids, my wife and I could not eat the food and throw them all in the garbage. When my wifecalled the owner for complaining, he said nobody ever complained and you are the first one , but you can check reviews. Never goback to this place again. Read more

Portion was average but there was mayo on the veal sandwiches and I'm sorry but mayo does not belong on a veal sandwich (it does... not say it has mayo on their menu) and had I known that , I never would have ordered it. Yesterday a friend and I stopped in to try this place out. I ordered a chicken parm on a bun. OH MY GOD! I have NEVER had one so... perfect! I don't know what they do to thier sauce but I've never tasted anything like it . Was incredible. The portion wasmassive..I ate it for 2 meals. Beautiful grilled red pepper and onions and a fabulous cheese that was just the perfect amount .I Highly recommend this place ! 20 out of 10!! Read more

The best Persian restaurant in Aurora. Food quality is exceptional. Just trust me on this one. I know because I tried many... places before I became a regular customer here. Their catering is also really good. Whether it's for a small friends and family get together weekend or for a fair size B-Day, or any other occasion party, Baran knows how to cater. Baran was one of my favorite restaurants. We visited there almost once a month before COVID and even during COVID we ordered... their food by Ubereats etc. However, I was very very disappointed with their service. I ordered a chicken breast kabob ($14.99)and Koobideh beef kabob ($11.99) and they charged me $36.42 instead of $30.49 incl.tax. So I revisited the restaurant next dayto ask about the charge but the door was closed even though it was 11:30 am on Thursday. (They were supposed to open from 11am.) I looked inside through the door and the owner couple was there. He saw me and waved to me so I waited for him to come tothe door for more than 5 min. but he never come to talk to me. So I left eventually. After that I found out by one of theGoogle reviews that I was charged $5 for a bottle of water (a Costco bottled water that would cost approx. $0.50). When I had adinner, I asked the server (the owner's wife) to bring a glass of water that is usually free in Canada, but instead she broughta bottle of water, which I had no idea that would cost $5. Anyway I was totally shocked to know that the overcharged price of abottle of water and I was so disappointed at their service. Read more

First time eating there and I already in love with the place. Amazing decoration and it smells like my grandma’s kitchen.... B I N G O ! What a pleasant surprise. How I found this place. Returning home from home depot I had made a right hand turn... prematurely. At the corner of my eye I see a sign. I couldn't see the entire sign but remembered 3 words" real fresh food", soquickly made a U-turn and decided this is what I was having for dinner. Being a food critic I had a good feeling about thisplace. As I opened the door to step out of my vehicle I quickly noticed the front entrance beautifully manicured and clean. Atthis point I was confident I had made the correct choice. As I entered I the restaurant everything inside was perfect Clean,excellent fresh ingredients table, quality restaurant equipment and the attention to detail you simply cannot teach. The ownersrestaurant flyer is excellent with alot of thought to what customers want. Lastly customer services is at its highest standard.I realized then, they were just as passionate about food as I was. I give BARAN 10/10 excellent healthy options at familyaffordable prices.
