3.5/5 The portion was pretty small, but I suppose with the price it was fair enough. Wouldn't necessarily recommend this place... if you're looking for fancy, gourmet level Japanese food, but it's perfect for a quick, Japanese-convenience-store level mealon-the-go. I live in Aurora and have been going to this place for years. It has typically been excellent. Unfortunately the portion size... and quality have gone down lately. They had a little price increase recently which was certainly justified and frankly welldeserved, but they need to keep the quality and quantity consistent. Will give this another chance, but if it isn't back to theway it was I'll be looking for a new sushi 'go-to'. Check out the pieces of salmon in this roll. Just because it's not apresentation piece atop rice doesn't mean that you can stuff the garbage in a roll and hope nobody notices. This was basicallylike the salmon equivalent of gnawing the cartilage off a poor cut of beef. I had some salmon nigiri as well and the salmonportion was much smaller than I've had in the past. Unfortunately I failed to take a photo of that but I do have a photo ofwhat it was like back when the quantity was good (you can see the pieces were so large they curl under at the ends). Read more
