This restaurant has been a staple in the area for years. I get that! However places like this forget how they got popular & tend... to make bone head decisions as time goes along. All because they know that customers are gonna go there who live around here.But man my wings were small like a toddler sized 10 pc lemon pepper? I love American Deli, and this location definitely met my expectations on what the average American Deli would/should offer at... any given location. First and last time ever going to this location. I usually go to the one in Atlanta on Gresham Rd, but I was in this area today.... I should've just gone to Wendy's or something. I actually didn't do a drive thru because I also needed to use the restroom.However, they still have everything restricted like it's 2020 when COVID first hit. No tables, no chairs, no bathroom access. Itfeels like really, they just want your money and then want you to immediately get out, not that they're being pandemic safe. Ihad to use the bathroom at the QuikTrip across the street.. which was disgusting. The customer service here is awful. Notpersonable, dry, and sterile. The lady in front of me called her order in ahead, but it wasn't ready when they arrived. Our foodended up being ready together. They still have plexiglass partition at the counter so you have to talk thru the little speaker,but somehow you still have to repeat yourself over and over for just a single combo order. I asked for a 6 count lemon pepper,wet. It cost $9.53. At my usual location, it's about $7.50. It was an Asian male that took my order. Usually they open thecontainer for you to look at the food and approve, but not this location. He passed my bag to me and walked off. I opened it tofind the tiniest, most dry wings in North America. It's hit or miss I guess I got food there on a bad day I wasted $18 I couldn't eat the shrimp fried rice and wings I bought it... was horrible even my kid wouldn't eat it and kid's pretty much eat anything. I threw it away. ???? Read more
Decent cheese steak. Fast service, but not very friendly. Used to be better but I understand the times. UPDATE: I got the wings... and fries this time. Don't bother. I'm including a picture of the "wings" with a normal lighter and a fry for size reference. I'm questioning if this is even chicken. Read more
Do not order via DoorDash! You will not get what you ordered. 1 Star Update: This time I went in 8/10/21 between 8-8:30pm. The... guy wasn?t mean or nice he was just doing his job and the food was hot but the lady bagging the food she is definitely not nice.I can definitely understand the previous reviews regarding her. The wings are really tiny but they gave a nice size portion ofrice. I am changing my 1 star to 2 since the food was hot and the last time I ordered was through DoorDash and part of the issuewas their fault. 2 Star Update: 3x in February ( I know don?t judge) Food was hot. The lady was was nicer once and said thankyou. The guy at the front has started greeting. I got a philly cheesesteak & lemon pepper wing combo. My wife asked the manager on the phone twice to put the wings in a... separate container but she refused. My bun was SOAKED with lemon pepper juice. When I called afterwards, the worker said hewould have separated them but there?s nothing he can do because of the manager. Read more
I have been coming to this American deli for years but today was my last visit. The lady at the register who I believe to be the... owner at this restaurant is extremely rude. I asked for extra crispy wings and all $40 worth of food was extremely soft afterwaiting almost an hour. I came at her quiet, calm, and collected explaining to her that they weren't made properly and sheyelled at me and told me she will not be re making them. She was dismissive before I could get a word out. I asked if I couldleave the wings and be refunded, she said no. They do not value their customers and treat us like we are obligated to spend ourhard earned money with them. Don't waste your time or money. Read more
